My predicament exactly. @seekjustice, right? most of my friends are guys, and according to my two gal friends most of the time I talk to a guy is considered flirting by society, but for the life of me I can’t see where the friendly conversation ends and the flirtation begins.

I know right? on the rare occasions I do talk to a young man of a similar age to myself, I’ll say something and then internally go “Oh wait, was that flirting?? If so, I should probably stop because I’m terrible at it and this is super awkward…”

@rochellaine, yeah, I guess that is part of it. Probably the main reason I don’t ship them because it wasn’t til near the end of book two that I got the impression that Justice made the faith his own and not simply thinking believing in God was all that mattered.

Ooh, and I agree with what you said to @valtmy about the whole leader thing.

Justice is only one revolutionary leader out of a large number, even if that wasn’t necessarily made clear in the first draft. Also, the revolutionary group existed before Justice came along. He just took charge because he’s the bossy sort. And can you imagine Jonas leading a revolution?

Fair enough. And yes, Enjolras is very much a noble character with a noble revolution, whereas Justice most definitely is not.

@rochellaine, honestly, if a guy did that to me I’d find it pretty darn romantic, but like I said, there’s just something about those two. I don’t even know what it is, but for some reason I do not ship them. No clue why.
