Oh, wait. The no offense speech was well worth the time you spent writing it, if only for my merriment. Very humorous.
@Daeus Heh…I take that to mean I was worrying for no reason. 😛 (But—‘accepting but judgemental’, your contradiction! I could have had reason to worry!) Well, thanks anyway. I feel very much easier now. *wry grin*
I shall…[Read more] -

Aaaahhhh!!! My contradiction and those two quotes of yours, @emma-flournoy. *hangs head* I have nothing more to say.

Yup. ISFJ. 😀

O.O you guys rehearse speeches @Daeus @Emma-Flournoy??? That’s… awful. 😛 I have imaginary conversations but I never consciously rehearse anything. XD
I suppose that’s because J types like to come prepared and Ps just like to deal with it when it happens. More power to ya. 😉@Bluejay that sounds about right. 😀
Since we’re talking about…[Read more]

@emma-flournoy No, by manipulating by influence, I meant trying to steer people where you wanted them to go, set the tone you wanted — basically control a situation without seeming controlling.
Ha! You rehearsed a speech? That’s so ENFJ. Did you re-rehearse it afterwards millions of times in preparation for a similar situation in the…[Read more]

Let me see if I get this right. Two proverbs and the personality types that they suit.
Look before you leap – Introverted
He who hesitates is lost – Extroverted.
Just something I’ve been pondering. Feel free to correct me if I’m wrong.

@Emma-Flournoy *sigh* You would.

@Daeus yes. All 4% of the population who are INFPs should have their own personal ENFJ to make sure things actually happen. XD
You do have a point there, but while outward appearances/behaviors can certainly provide great clues it’s not perfect for interpretation— with MBTI, it’s not what people are or do or look like, but how they think. @Emma…[Read more]

@Daeus no, you’re not sounding crazy at all. With the picture you got, @Emma-Flournoy is undoubtedly an ENFJ.
But I have something to say on this. *puffs up importantly* I still think Emma is closer to ISFJ than ENFJ— except when it comes to me. For some reason. 😛 She’s like my agent or something. The ENFJ comes out dominant in her whenever…[Read more]

@emma-flournoy Yeah, that was where it mainly showed. Of course, I am going completely off conjecture here, but I got a fairly strong impression of it. Am I sounding crazy?

You mean before we were talking about it on here, @Daeus, right?
Yeah, you were purpose driven and you set forth an act, manipulating by influence. You were fairly subtle, probably good at feigning you understood less than you actually did, conducting matters with a certain delicacy. It was all incredibly amusing since I knew…[Read more]

@emma-flournoy Well, first of all, I am a guy. That counts for probably half of it. And then, there’s lot’s of variance even within types and personality things that belong only to an individual. For instance, many people cry over the red fern grows. I didn’t even come close to close to close. Pet’s just don’t connect with me. I dread the idea of…[Read more]

@bluejay, @emma-flournoy, @kate-flournoy, @daeus: Okay. I just took the personality quiz with what I thought would be Kylo Ren/Ben’s answers and came up with ISTJ. This is what the website says:
ISTJs don’t make many assumptions, preferring instead to analyze their surroundings, check their facts and arrive at practical courses of action. ISTJ…[Read more] -

@bluejay, @emma-flournoy, @kate-flournoy, @daeus: I found a personality test online:
https://www.16personalities.com/
I dare someone to take it (providing that someone has seen Star Wars VII more than once) choosing the answers Kylo Ren/Ben would select!
By the way, I am INFJ-T.
I will try to take the quiz with Ben Solo answers and put them…[Read more] -

@emma-flournoy Yeah, you definitely seem like an ENFJ to me. Not that I’m really the one to say that, but when the idea somehow popped into my head without any context, my immediate reaction was “wow, how did I not guess that before?”

Now while I’m not an INFP myself, it does seem to me that their concern for harmony is more personal — they want people to be at harmony primarily because that’s just the way it should be.
@Daeus spot on. You said it.
The biggest giveaway for an extrovert is that you get energetic around people.
Ha! I never had any doubts as to whether or no…[Read more]

Do you cry over happy or just sad things?
Both. Probably sad things more frequently, but I can cry tears of happiness too. (I am fully prepared to cry at my sister’s wedding; out of happiness, that is 🙂 )
I just acted in a movie that my siblings made, and for a scene I had to cry. And I thought it would be really easy I cry over everything, but…[Read more] -

@emma-flournoy This is funny because it just struck me a few days ago that you acted very ENFJ. I can see the ISFJ too. I agree with you that ENFJs are also very concerned about harmony, smoothing over conflict, and nurturing people’s inner selves. I had a discussion a while back in which another ENFJ and I agreed that this was one of our biggest…[Read more]
