@anne-of-lothlorien Oh my goodness. As I was reading your post (fellow ENFP here), I kept going, “Yes… yess… double yes…” I talk to things, a lot of times my reflection (which can get super creepy). Yesss! The multi tasking. I love to do other things at the same time if one activity doesn’t engage my full attention. Yes, the artsiness.…[Read more]

@anne-of-lothlorien told me to give you the following three hints:
1. The spelling does not change whether it’s a boy or girl.
2. The last syllable is close to her alias.
3. Marian was your closest guess. So there you have it! Happy guessing! (If you choose to guess anymore, of course. 😉 )

134 posts… wow. I do believe you’ve hit gold with this thread, @dragon-snapper. 😛 😀
@jess Quaker Haven is in Syracuse, IN. It’s really awesome- if anyone on here can ever come when we go, you’d be more than welcome. It’s generally the first or third week of August when we go, I believe. I’m sure I’ll mention it when we get there.…[Read more]

@emma-flournoy I think Daa-us is right, though I’m not positive since you could pronounce it different ways, but my first guess of what you meant lines up with the correct pronunciation.

When it comes to logic, I always think I’m right and it is impossible to offend me because you’re wrong and I should be concerned about you, not myself
@Daeus thank you for summing up my life in one sentence. *hysterical laughter* Okay, I may be a little more sensitive than that, but when it comes to logic, I know when I’m right and if you don…[Read more]

@Sarah-h The song I Thought You Were Dead is from the soundtrack to the movie. My brother owns it and it’s one of the most listened to songs on his laptop. That would be me. 🙂 It plays in the movie when Charlotte meets Will on the balcony after she thought he was dead, hence the title.
@Emma-flournoy Yes, The Last Goodbye. I cried for that one…[Read more]

@Emma-Flournoy No George McDonald is not a modern author. He died in 1905. He’s really good though. Whoever asked me this question I’d say his is more personal fantasy, but with maybe a touch of epic.
@His-instrument I KNOW! I hated that ending! I was so happy that they ended well and got married and then seriously? They died, the new king was…[Read more]

So I know we have bits of this in Writer Corner #3 and other threads, and if you want to see if other people will write with you, do that on the Writer Corner please. This thread is for telling people your story’s name, genre, and how far you’ve got, cause some of us( or maybe just me) didn’t actually sign up on the website and therefore cannot…[Read more]

Okay. This is like… totally weird but AWESOME!!!!! My thread. Okay, so this is gonna be like the longest post I’ve ever done.
So, on the subject of personality types,nI know I’m an ENFP which means I have a margarita mix in my blood, but since I don’t do alcohol, I just take it to mean I have a crazy mix of different things. Now, I am terrible…[Read more]

@Winter-Rose yes!!! INFPs unite! 😀
Yes, I used to. I still don’t share half of them; only the good ones, and then only to @Emma-Flournoy and my mom. Emma isn’t a writer, but she’s been my #1 fan from the beginning, and she’s really helpful with that sort of stuff. 😀
It is difficult to open up to others about my ideas, though. Mostly because I…[Read more] -

@Sarah-H @emma-flournoy I haven’t seen the play the play either, but I’ve read the 1500+ page book and I have to say the 2012 movie did an excellent job capturing its spirit and fleshing out the two dozenish characters. A few parts were rushed (Marius and Cosette’s romance, for one), but they could hardly make it any longer than its already…[Read more]

@Corissa-Maiden-of-Praise don’t ask me. Must have been a glitch in the way you took the test or something. It’s okay. You’ll figure it out eventually. 😉

@his-instrument I talked with my dad and I can do the 7th, 21st, and 28th of January.
Btw, @gretald @ingridrd @winter-rose @kate-flournoy @emma-flournoy, Is anyone going to the celtic ball? I actually don’t know if I’m going myself, but I normally do so I assume I am.

@emma-flournoy I guess I have the opposite problem. I’ve never seen the play, and I don’t have time to read the book, but the story sounds very intriguing, so I was hoping there was a good movie about it. We just got two different ones from the library, and I was wondering if anyone had watched the movies, and whether they stick to the storyline…[Read more]

@emma-flournoy I think I’d collaborate on the music. I’m always composing music and am supposedly very musical, but I can’t actually write down the music (at least it would be very very difficult for me to do) and I really don’t like playing instruments myself and have very little knowledge of them.

@emma-flournoy Any movie at all. Though our family never really attends the theatre (for no particular reason), that experience decided me that the opera is my favourite art form. I don’t know if it will ever happen, but some day I’d like to write them along with my novels.

@emma-flournoy Yes, the play is amazing. Of course, they had to seriously abridge everything and they couldn’t possibly be 100% accurate to the book with the limited time, but I’d say they did a good job expressing the core elements of the book. The only issue is that stage directors can do anything they want outside of the script, so when I went…[Read more]

@Daeus never heard of it. Probably won’t be able to come because pretty much any out-of-the-ordinary activity doesn’t work when we’re really busy with cabins, but what is it, where is it, and when is it held?
Anything Celtic sounds fascinating to me… 😀
Ha! Yes, they even have a bagpiper.
So to summarize this: it’s held in Deleware, it’s for homeschoolers, they do mainly traditional dances though I think there are a couple American ones, it’s fairly formal though not super-so, and it’s held every December and then also in the spring and they just started doing one in the summer too (though that…[Read more]
Live bagpiping! That must be fun. 😀

If you would like to go to the Celtic Ball, there is another ball in the spring, too. Just register early because it fills up VERY quickly. 🙂
@daeus
@gretald and I are going! Hope to see you there! 🙂
Sweet. Now I guess I have to register 😛
Be forwarned though. Meeting people from online is probably my greatest fear ever, so we’ll just have to hope I don’t shut down and lose all social skills whatsoever.
I am going @daeus! See you there? Maybe? There are so many people there that it’s hard to find anyone. 😉
*chuckles* Yeah. Well, you have a few hours at least.
@daeus I’ll check with the other Ohio folks and see if those days will work for them, too. I’ll let you know about when the next Writers’ Gathering would be.
