Uh, yikes. That’s freaky.
What, you and your sister? Do you look similar? That I’m used to. People think my oldest sister Elizabeth and I look incredibly similar (supposedly, we really do, but I don’t think the resemblance is THAT close), and we get called each other ALL the time. People confuse us for twins even. She’s four years older than me.…[Read more]

The Mysterious Benedict Society trilogy, by Trenton Lee Stewart
North and South by Elizabeth Gaskell
A Tale of Two Cities by Dickens (though that and the previous might be a little slow if you’re looking for action. But then again, if you’re reading something like Les Mis, you might not mind. 😀 They’re great.)

@Dragon-Snapper That’s WONDERFUL! D’ye get to edit it now, or are you working on something else?
Just so you know, the title Sector One is very cool.

@Northerner Was that poem published on here recently called The Human Mind by your sister, or by a totally unrelated Olivia White?
-
Completely unrelated. Other Olivia Whites do seem to follow us around, though.
-
Funny.

We’ve bumped into other Sophia Whites, too — one of them, when we lived in the Cities, went to the same hospital and our records got mixed up once. It’s weird how often that happens.
Oh, and then when people who know us personally call each of us by the other’s name, things get even more complicated in no time.

Oh yes, the characters unwittingly bring themselves so much pain and other…STUFF that could be avoided. They really don’t know what’s good for them, I guess. XD

I KNOW!!! It’s so awesome and at the same time so horribly frustrating ’cause you want it to be out SO BAD. I love scenarios like that. In that frustrated way, you know. 😉 Poor everybody.
Ooh, cool. You still get to be in suspense then.

Ah wow, you have an optimistic approach. XD That’s true…*sniff* But it’s so…sad. It gets sadder. Do you know who Albert’s father is yet?
And I love how much Albert loves his mother.Oh yeah, quite. Just wait. All your threads will eventually converge and you will be thoroughly disgusted. And/or horrified. I imagine. 😛

@NotAWriter Shockingly enough, I do have a top favorite book. It’s Les Miserables by Victor Hugo. I think I’ve heard of your favorite book/series, though I haven’t read it.
@Dekreel Oh right, my bad. 😛 I think he doesn’t write, no.

AHHHHH YES!!! Isn’t it great?! *sly grin* It does kinda creep up on you. And then it’s like AHHHH!
Yeah, Maximillian was there before briefly, but it wasn’t for long. You’ll definitely get to know him more.
-
I think it’s all really cute and sweet, for some reason. XD I mean, it’s sad that she lost her first lover, but she did move on and eventually have a family of her own after all.
I just read M. le Comte’s footman’s account of the assassination of Villefort. It’s a shame about the child, becoming such a brat. 😛

lol, yeah, I love how Albert loves her too. And I haven’t made any connections, but I know his father is a count or something. 😛 But is it someone we knew of beforehand?
Well, the fact that Caderousse and his wife just murdered a jeweller so that they could have their cake and eat it too already disgusts me. And I thought he was a nice fellow,…[Read more]

Yeah. I’m definitely more on the consuming end in this area. Like, all the way. XD When Douglas gets older though, we’ll see where he goes. He might not ultimately end up using a program such as Blender, ’cause he got this thing for his birthday that’s some kind of tablet…[Read more]

Yup, that does make sense. Robots are pretty cool things. 😀
Yeah, there are so many different ways robots could look I can imagine it’d be hard to settle on exactly what you want.

@NotAWriter Welcome to the bestistest place on the Internet!
As far as I know, I’m the only other non-writer on here. *wrings your hand quite crazily* Very good to have ya! Learning and talking about it with writer sisters is awesome. @Kate-Flournoy ‘s mine (older), and her characters are ones I daydream about. 😉
Do you have a favorite book?
