I’m working on an essay and a short story thing.

If I don’t respond to anyone talking to me, it’s because I’m doing a couple of intense word sprints against myself and I’ll have the internet closed to avoid distractions. 😛

I think I may have forgotten to introduce my novel. Oops. Well, it’s called Powerless and it’s a superhero dystopian story.

@Perfectfifths my writing secret: close all internet things other than my music playlist and my timer, and write in intensive sprints against the timer. And just keep doing that for half the day. 😛

I hit my goal of 15k! I’m hoping to reach 20k by the end of today. 😀

You know you’re a writer when people (*cough* @hope *cough*) are trying to teach you how to outline and you hate it but you know it’ll be good for you so you do it anyway.

I’ve never heard of a 2nd person narrative actually working. Everyone I’ve read on the subject say it’s only a gimmick and doesn’t end up doing well w/the exception of the narrow choose-your-own-adventure sub-genre. Since it’s only a short story, if you want to experiment, then by all means go for it! But I also wouldn’t personally recommend it. 😛

I’ve never really written haikus outside of what was required for my writing class last semester…I had to submit a few for peer review and I got an A on that assignment, so I guess that’s good?
