Ben Gunn and Flare – Group 1, Everstrand edge
As soon as Flare realized he was on the ground, he was up again ready to fight. Ben was a little slower but got up quickly. All the Ironwalkers were still on the ground, but they started to get up.
“Quick, back to the roof.” T…[Read more]

Baron (Brutus)—with group 1, Elderstrand edge
Brutus sighed. Why did he even care? Here his body was tearing itself apart and he wanted to go back to help Flare and Ben and the boy.
Mustering his strength, Brutus got back up from where he lay, gritting his teeth as he…[Read more]

Ben Gunn and Flare – Group 1, Everstrand edge
Flare looked down from the roof top at the kid who just became unconscious as Ironwalkers surrounded him. He drew his sword.
“Flare don’t-” Ben didn’t finish his sentence when Flare jumped down. When he landed, he ran towards the…[Read more]

@raxforge @ellette-giselle I probably won’t do it either, but that’s just because I can’t think of anything that I could write for such a broad subject.

I have decided not to participate this time around. My belief is that death should not be taken lightly. I cannot write about death that might make others feel uncomfortable or offended. I know people who have dealt with people dying and have seen them dying. That is something that that person has to deal with the rest of their…[Read more]

Come on, Ellette! You’re gonna leave me on that!? Your cliffhangers…
Just teasing. I like Julian’s reaction—it feels very realistic like Linus said, even though I’m not a boy so I don’t know exactly how men react to those situations. As far as I know, it looks good.

@ellette-giselle ohhh cool! yeah Tron’s soundtrack is a great one to have on in the background when you’re writing, or sometimes I put it on when I’m in the car on a long trip.
This is from the TV show, which was pretty god but only lasted like 1 season.

@ellette-giselle I don’t think you’re playing with demonic powers.
Putting an actual detailed ritual by the Imperial priests could be, for example, but simply the mention that a pagan temple has an evil presence hovering over it is, if anything, as realistic as you can make it.
The music track? Oh, it’s funny cause it is a synth-heavy…[Read more]

@ellette-giselle what you said about the temple feeling evil to Joseph makes sense to me. I, personally, have never been to any form of pagan temple (not even the ruins of one, that I can remember anyway) , but honestly the very fact that I would be standing in what was once used for or currently used for the worship of a false god (especially if…[Read more]

@ellette-giselle @theducktator @rae @keilah-h Thanks y’all! 😁
@keilah
like in Freedom’s Fire you see him as mostly heartless and cruel, but in all the other books he is more humanized–he has a brother, he has a family, he has reasons for why he did what he did. Not that they were good reasons, mind you, but it means that it upsets you that…

Forth section:
Joseph looked up at Darrien. His face was white, and his finger’s tightened on the door frame. He used his other hand to gently push Joseph back. “Please, the children had nothing to do with it, nor did the women. I was the one who hid him. Take me but leave the others.”
This felt unessasary. Julian only said t…[Read more]

Poor Linus. You’ll have so much catching up to do. Sorry.
Yeah, yesterday was rather busy. Oh well. I have time today.

Feedback for the second section:
Don’t have too much to say about this one. Joseph kind of falling back to where he was before, but it is easy to see why.
He could hear Noah and Sabina praying together, and for a moment he thought Aaron was captured, for this was how it had been.
This is a nice peak back into what they were all…[Read more]

Okay, that’s a lot of exclamation marks. You know five exclamation marks is a sure sign of madness, right? But you couldn’t settle for five, you went for six. (But who am I kidding, we’re all authors. Madness is sure to come with that.) Ellette, what are you doing to Joseph?

Wooph! Got a lot to catch up on! Let’s see how far I get before I have class…
It was actually not Betsy. It was Corrie and Betsy’s Niece, Peter and Reuben’s brother, and it was Peter and Reuben who were under the table because someone had seen them with the Jews and informed on them. (At least, that’s what it say’s in Corrie’…
