    I’m running.
    Running.
    I can’t think now.
    The world spins around me.
    I run.
Is it behind me or in front? Am I running away for going home? Breath clawing in and out, tearing at my throat. One foot before the other and the earth slides away. Sliding, blurring. Away.
Feet too fast. I’m flying now. It hits me.
I fell. See stars, black and white.
Catch my breath. Heart beat and next. Get up.
    I’m running.
    Running.
    Running.

    • Sounds like life lol, nice poem

      • Yeah, life can be rough sometimes. This year has felt like Micah 7:8 in more ways than one. XD I think this poem was kinda trauma processing for an accident I had a few months back. Glad you like it!

        • Oh, that’s a good bible verse. Sorry to hear about your accident! Are you ok now?

          • Eeek, I forgot the phone died before I sent in my response. Now it’s very late, but anyhoo,
I’m doing well. Basically, I met concrete and it was not polite. Thank the Lord, the only real injury was a broken bone in my hand. It’s almost normal now. 🙂
