Hello!
I actually am hard of hearing and have worn hearing aids for 13 years. Two of my brothers also wear hearing aids. We don’t actually sign ASL and can hear pretty well with our hearing aids, but I do read lips.  🙂
I am available if there is specific questions you want to ask. I don’t know how much help I’ll be, but I can try! 😀

When I looked at your blog I saw that you mentioned you were part of a drama group that is doing Aladdin the musical this year. Is that correct? 😀
I love drama, and have done it for five years through my homeschool co-op. I actually was in Aladdin, too! 🙂 What part are you playing? Have you been in any shows before?

Have you been in any plays before and do you like to act?

I’ve only read Pride & Prejudice. I read it for the first time last year and have seen the BBC version of the movie twice and really enjoyed it. I am actually doing the play this year through our homeschool co-op which should be very fun! I am playing Miss Bingley & Lady Catherine.

Also, to tag someone in a conversation (which should send them a notification by email) you put the @ symbol in front of their tag. Some people’s tag matches their name (like my tag is @delightinlife) whereas other people have different tags than their username. Everyone’s tag is written underneath their username. For example your username is WaterLily and underneath you have your tag which also happens to be waterlily (except with the @ symbol in front) . To tag someone else just look at what is written underneath their username and that should tag them.  Hope that helps! 😀

When I was looking at another post I saw you mentioned that you were in Pride & Prejudice. So am I! I have been acting for 5 years through our homeschool co-op, (and I’ve acted out stories with my sister long before then 😀 ) and this year we’re doing Pride & Prejudice!

@anne-of-lothlorienYes! We listen to the Piano Guys as well! I really like “This is my Fight Song” and the video! Btw, have you watched the video where it tells how they made the video for “Fight Song”? It’s pretty fascinating all the things that kept happening. They had quite an adventure to make that video! 😀

Wow! That is really fascinating! I look forward to the day when I reach my goal of one day speaking both Hindi and English fluently! I really find it fascinating when people know more than one language!
What exactly is the difference between Low German and German? Are they originally spoken in different parts of Germany so the languages sound slightly different and have some different words?
Did learning languages get easier after your second language? I think I heard somewhere that they do get somewhat easier, but I’m not sure. What language was hardest to learn?
By the way, I’m homeschooled too. 🙂
Also, I hope you don’t mind all the questions. 😀 I just find it really fascinating. 🙂

Wow! 4 languages? What are they? Did you learn to speak them just for fun, or do you have family members, friends, or a community that speaks that language?
I’m currently learning Hindi using an online program called Rosetta Stone and have really been enjoying the challenge! How did you learn your languages?
