@dekreel I appreciate you putting so much time into this! *whispers* Also, I can totally relate to the whole over-planning thing.
I don’t have any ideas for a new plot, but when I over-plan, the best thing I can do is just write. Anything you want! If you have an idea for a scene in your story, go for it. You can always edit it later or delete it…[Read more] -

@dekreel Thanks! That does help.
@christi-eaton I heard about it through Brett Harris. He started a writing group called the Young Writer’s Workshop. I don’t know if you heard of it, but I’m a member there too.

@dekreel XD It’s alright, take your time and write it how you want it. Don’t worry about over-planning things, just write how it comes naturally to you. There’s sort of two main kinds of writers; planners, and discoverers. Planners get everything p…[Read more]

@dekreel *salutes* Glad to be of service, m’lady. I totally know the feeling.
(And I totally know the feeling of “WHY ISN’T THIS STUPID OUTLINE DONE YET?”. My utmost condolences.)
I shall ponder plot-lines and return in due time with my findings.

@dekreel Hey, don’t feel bad about planning ahead. Just because some of the other KP literature has been extremely random and spontaneous doesn’t mean yours has to be. Let it flow, do what you want, and it will be unique. I, for one, think it would be kinda interesting to see us doing something (semi) rational. Semi-rational for us, at least.…[Read more]

(warning: long post ahead. proceed with caution)
Some of you may have commented on my book blurb for book 1 of my trilogy Guardians of Airos. I appreciate your honest opinions very much, because it’s hard for me to step away from my work to see it for what it is, so getting outside input helped tons. But I’m sure if I’m going to write this idea…[Read more]

Alright, peoples, listen up. I have questions.
One of the reasons I’ve enjoyed writing in the sci-fi genre is that you don’t have to know much about fighting styles or weapons. It’s sci-fi, and no one expects you to be realistic the entire time, so you can just…make stuff up. Which I do. A lot.
But, in the days since my old sci-fi WIP k…[Read more]

The Mysterious Benedict Society trilogy, by Trenton Lee Stewart
North and South by Elizabeth Gaskell
A Tale of Two Cities by Dickens (though that and the previous might be a little slow if you’re looking for action. But then again, if you’re reading something like Les Mis, you might not mind. 😀 They’re great.)
Mistborn trilogy by…[Read more]

@bella-d @dekreel I love those authors too!
H. Rider Haggard is an AMAZING Historical Fiction author.
Elizabeth Elliot – you should have heard of her husband Jim Elliot and Nate Saint, who were martyred by the Aucas, now called the Waorani. She later went back and taught her husband’s murderers about Christ.
Douglas Bond – Another His-Fic…[Read more]

Also, I won’t be on here for a week because of the trip. 😉

@dekreel She sounds like a cutie! I’ll do it. I dont have very many OC’s XD. My first OC though, Ara, is an alien with pale blue skin and purple hair. She is a princess but she comes from a long line of ninjas. She is the last of her people. She can turn into a mermaid at will and has black cat ears.
