@dekreel Okay. A little cheesiness is okay; my family watches a lot of old movies/shows. 🙂
quick question: do you think switching to a third person pov would work in a mainly first person pov story?

K, I’ll do my best! I’ll be probably getting started on it tomorrow; my family is watching the Super Bowl and I hate football, so I’ll be sketching, outlining and what not then. 😊
Sorry, one last question: is it okay if it’s kinda manga style? that’s just what I’m used to, but if you’d rather not have it like that, then that’s okay.

@dekreel ooh, sounds interesting! Is it good to watch with my family?
writing fanfic sounds fun!

@dekreel lol, thanks.
okay, so when you say red highlights, does that mean natural or dyed? Did you want the picture in color?
No I’ve never been to Frontier Camp. Would’ve been cool if we’d actually met in real life though 😉

@dekreel Les Mis is awesome! I’m from Idaho 🙂
Thanks @radically-surrendered! You should read the book! The unabridged version is long, but it has some neat history in it. I play the piano and banjo.

@dekreel Thanks, I’ll keep those things in mind.
Here’s a couple writing prompts I found on the internet. I think I might one of them for my WIP. what do you think?

hmm, I’ve never heard/read any Dr Who stuff (is it a movie/show or book?)

@dekreel AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!!! Jenna?! That’s MY name! Good choice😜
I’d love to try to draw me….uh, I mean….your character. Could you find a picture on the internet that kinda looks like your character and post it? I do sooo much better when I have a pic as a guide. If not, that’s okay. lol, but I’ve never drawn acne before!

@dekreel I think the two worst books I’ve ever read were The Secret Garden and Starship Troopers. The main problem with both of them was that literally NOTHING with a quadruple capital N happened. Not to mention that they’re both very off philosophically.
I also put a book down 3/4 of the way through recently, which I almost never do. It was…[Read more]

@dekreel yeah I’m writing a dystopian. It’s set in the mid to late 22nd century in the USA. Just trying to figure out the plot. I know how I want my characters to change over the story, but a plot just isn’t forming yet. Any idea?
How’s your book coming? what genre is it?

@dekreel Yay! 😁I think I’ll join you. I’ll be outlining though.

@dekreel kinda said to say, but yes I do have a terrible book recommendation. It’s the Adventures in the American Revolution series. They’re more middle grade books, and really short. Younger kids may like them, but me being my age and being a writer, they were pretty bad. If you asked me what one book was about I wouldn’t be able to tell you,…[Read more]

@dekreel *brain sputters as it tries to think* I’m pretty bad at thinking up something on the spot, so I’ll let you know when I think of anymore names (though Seekjustice took care of that!) or descriptions.
I like your last drawing!

Hello @Dekreel! My name was actually an accident. My parents fully intended to name me Emily, but someone made a mistake at birth and it got on my birth certificate as Amily. 😜 Now in college with a hundred other Emilys, I’ve decided to embrace the A!
I don’t know that I could name a single favorite book or movie. I rather liked Ben Hur, both boo…[Read more]

@ingridrd I would hand you virtual blueberries but according to my story, those aren’t satisfying. 😀
@seekjustice A robber who steals parts of walls? That is hilarious! It reminds me of Gilbert and Sullivan’s Pirates of Penzance who have strict rules about what kind of ships they are allowed to attack honorably. 🙂 Wikipedia article he…[Read more]

@dekreel The first one… Tragim
The second… Caicurog
The third… Dekrezvesch
As for descriptions, hmm.
Slasizch
Slasizch is a massive, hulking, bug eyed beast. He actually looks truly terrifying- like a giant crustacean from the ocean, with a carapace and massive claws that could crush cars in their grip. He makes a high-pitched…[Read more]

Yay! Welcome, again, @amily-huddleston! 😉
Realistic fiction sounds cool. I write speculative/historical. I love how we can all work together and help one another, despite writing very different content. This really is the bestistest place on the internet!
*whispers* psst, @dekreel, sorry to point this out, but it’s ‘bestistest’. Lots of people…[Read more]

I think my favourite one is Szabolcs and if I ever find myself writing a high fantasy novel I’ll give that name to an orc captain or something.
