@daeus I can’t stop laughing… Everything about this video is so very accurate. It made me think of nearly every British book I’ve ever read. There is absolutely NOTHING more riveting than geography! It always helps the story when the land is more interesting than the MC.
(Hey @princessfoo, you should see this. 🙂 ) -

Wow! Ya’ll are so welcoming! Let me see if I can respond to all of you. @mariposa, that is really cool! I wish I was like that. It would be handy to be able to write with both hands.
@daeus, yes that is how my name is pronounced and that is probably one of the most interesting compliments to my name I have ever heard. Thank you. Strangely enough,…[Read more] -

@seekjustice Yes, that’s what I was thinking. Thanks, I thought of it when I was reading a book about spies. There was an actual Acoustic Kitty once!
@daeus What do you think I could use monkeys for? Should they be master thieves and the spy has to catch them? It’s a very good idea, thank you so much!

@Daeus Hi! In answer to your questions:
1. The first idea is probably the one I have most planned out; it’s been around the longest.
2. Dusk Before Dawn, I think, has the most thematic depth. Because it’s in the middle of a war where both sides see themselves as right, there are a lot of difficult decisions to be made. It’s also different from…[Read more]

Hi, everyone! It’s really nice of you all to welcome me <3
@Daeus I’ve actually had a kind of writer’s block for the past year–not the one where you have no ideas, but the one where you have too many and don’t know which one to choose. I was hoping this site could help me with that 🙂
@Kate Flournoy I love historical romance, classic authors…[Read more]

@daeus MacDonalds… interesting word to know in Japanese. Well, I guess those three are everything you need to know to get on in Japan. Hi, bye, and show me to the fast food place.

@daeus This video is hysterical! (Why is it that I can’t come up with humor to save my life, but other people are funny enough to make youtube videos? Not fair)
I love the frogs, and the flat girl, and the geography, and the hat… love the hat. Can’t wait for the next video.
@epicaddie2 I actually punch my pillow pretty much every time I read a…[Read more]

*now really really wants to ask @Daeus if he speaks Japanese*
I suppose it’s not good that right when someone tells me not to ask someone something, I want to go right ahead and ask that someone that something? -

@daeus Is there a way to change my tag? I feel awful for all the people who have to type it in…

@daeus When you mentioned the hills, I did think of Tolkien too. He does linger on his descriptions.

I will not tell anyone. 😛 -

@daeus Haha! Nice. 😛
You have quite a nice British accent, may I say.And geography. How long do they have to linger on the way that the mountains reach into the sky? 😀
