@Emma-Flournoy Indeed. 😀 I still won’t swim in the ocean though; I’m a bit paranoid about sharks. Not really technically afraid of them, I think I’d be willing to swim with them in an aquarium, but I’d much rather stay out of the ocean where I might be accidentally mistaken for a meal. 😉

@Emma-Flournoy Thanks so much for asking! I’m doing much better, just a little bit of congestion left, but as I’ve been without a fever for more than 24 hours I’m officially not contagious and will be able to go to my Eschatology class tonight! (That may not sound like the funnest thing, but I really enjoy it and would have been disappointed if I…[Read more]

@Emma-Flournoy Not quite… 😛 We have access to a decent indoor pool at a nearby hotel, and when I was younger we went over there quite often. Now, life prevents us from going very much, but we still go every once in a while. 😀

@kate-flournoy @emma-flournoy Ah, I see. Well… maybe someday you’ll have the opportunity to fix that. Really, once you get used to it it’s quite fun. 😀
And I’ve been swimming for as long as I can remember. I think my earliest swimming memory was when I was… I don’t know, 4? Something like that. 😉 😀

@mark-kamibaya Well, I’m used to being the director for the plays I write, so that explains some of my comments. 😛
And I wasn’t talking about explaining EVERYTHING with dialogue; basically, I meant that a lot of times background information that may not be said in real-life since the people already know what’s going on will oftentimes somehow…[Read more]

One more thing @emma-flournoy: how does swimming hurt? Is it the actual swimming, or the life-jacket? (sorry, but swimming is one of my favorite things, so I like to try and help other people enjoy it too… 😉 )

@emma-flournoy Basically what @kate-flournoy and @daeus said is how I feel. I’m constantly thinking about who’s going to approve of what, and I know as I write certain things that some people simply aren’t going to like it. I have so many friends with so many diverse opinions that I really think it would be impossible to please everyone, so I…[Read more]

@bluejay I’m not scared either; I’ve just kind of abandoned all the projects I have right now except one, and it’s not quite ready to share. Unless you guys would be interested on my paper about Antichrist later this month… 😉

@dragon-snapper Writing a script is one of the funnest things ever. One piece of advice: remember that you have to take everything into account, but DO NOT make it too complicated.
Okay. So, basically, part of it depends on who and what you have to work with. Are the actors seasoned? Are they going to understand what you want from them? How much…[Read more]

I’m afraid I don’t know anyone in England, but I do have some good friends in Scotland; I’m not sure if that would be close enough or not. If you can’t find anything better and want me to ask them about it, let me know. 🙂

@anne-of-lothlorien told me to give you the following three hints:
1. The spelling does not change whether it’s a boy or girl.
2. The last syllable is close to her alias.
3. Marian was your closest guess. So there you have it! Happy guessing! (If you choose to guess anymore, of course. 😉 )

@jess Quaker Haven is in Syracuse, IN. It’s really awesome- if anyone on here can ever come when we go, you’d be more than welcome. It’s generally the first or third week of August when we go, I believe. I’m sure I’ll mention it when we get there.…[Read more]

@Daeus I was pretty sure you were exaggerating, but it was too good an opportunity to tease you to pass up. 😉

@anne-of-lothlorien Actually… I’m not doing NaNo this year. *hides from accusing glares* Sorry guys, it just didn’t work out. It almost never does in November, actually; I may have to do an unofficial NaNo a different month sometime. 😉
But I will be working on my college paper a lot Thanksgiving week; the topic I chose is The Antichrist, so it…[Read more]

When it comes to logic, I always think I’m right and it is impossible to offend me because you’re wrong and I should be concerned about you, not myself
Oh dear. This can be… dangerous. Remember, pride goeth before a fall… 😉

@Daeus Maybe that’s just something that varies from person to person, with no regard to personality. I would imagine personal experience has a lot to do with it more than anything. @kate-flournoy, what do you think? You’re the Personality Professor around here. 😉 😀

@anne-of-lothlorien So you’re good without a life-jacket now. Perfect! 😀 And the water’s generally deeper than five feet. It was over my head a little at the deepest spot within the docks, so it’s probably more like six feet.
And your poor neighbor boy. Or maybe poor you. He may be watching you with disgustingly…[Read more]

Oh yay! I’m so glad. 🙂 Eschatology is the study of end times, right?
@Emma-Flournoy That is a correct definition, but not a complete one. Eschatology is the study of last things, which includes all of the end times, but also includes things like death in general. We spent a few weeks talking about death and what happens to us when we die. Now we’re talking about the Resurrection! 😀 (Although trying to get everyone…[Read more]

Uh yes, I’m sure the concentration last night was difficult. *clears throat nervously* Um, on this topic…who did you vote for, if I may ask? Or are you old enough yet; how old are you?
Meh, I’m in the same boat as Kate. Still 17. 😛 Although I will be brave and say I would have voted for Trump. I DON’T like him, but I’ve heard way too much about Hilary. And Pence is nice (I may be slightly biased since I’m from Indiana 😉 ) so that would have made it easier. I just hope I have better options in 4 years when I can vote. 😛
