*flourish of trumpets* Hear ye, hear ye! My brave knights and princesses, gather ye round, for thy realm is in sore peril!
Okay… maybe not. 😉 *ahem* The fact of the matter is, I need your help on behalf of the KP staff. We’re working on a project and we want all you wonderful people to be involved. @Rolena-Hatfield and I are putting together…[Read more] -

@ClaireC Was It A Morning Like This?’… not sure who wrote it, but it was sung by a singer named Sandi Patti and it’s my grandma’s favorite. 😉
And sure, I’ll pray for you. 🙂
Thanks for praying @Ethryndal and @Sarah-H. I’ll let you know how it goes when we get there. 😉

@bluejay, @sarah-h, @hope, @kate-flournoy, @daeus, @perfect-fifths.
This is a rather long term one, but I’ll have another update in about a month or two.
I’m currently studying for a grade 5 piano exam, coming up in April. I’ve never done a piano exam before, at all, for any grade, so some prayer would be nice. -

@Christi-Eaton How’s your production of Les Mis going? I can’t remember exactly when you said you’d be playing it…but are you having a good time? It must be lots of fun. 😀
-
Aww, thanks for thinking about me Emma! It’s starting to get hectic. We have our first show this Thursday night then one on Friday and two shows on Saturday! I’m going to be at the theater all week rehearsing, so please pray for me and the rest of the cast. It sure is exhausting, but it is a ton of fun. 🙂

W.o.w.
I’ll sure be praying!

Hey @Christi-Eaton, I hope they went amazingly! I wonder how you won’t all be hoarse after so many times in a row. 😛
-
They all went really well! Despite having a cold myself everything went really well! Thank you for your prayers and support. I wish you could have been able to see it. My mom did tag me in some pictures on Facebook so you should have Kate show you. 🙂
-
Yay!! Congrats for managing it with a cold…*shudder* Hope you get better soon.
Aw, I wish I could’ve seen it too! I would so, SO like to see a performance of that sometime.
I had Kate show me the pictures… 🙂

*huge dancing grins* I’m so glad.
So the musical is good in its own way, even for someone who loves the book…I know it’s not entirely accurate to the book though I haven’t seen it. But I’m happy to know it’s possible for someone who loves the book to love the musical too, even though it’s different. I wouldn’t want to dislike the musical if I…[Read more] -
The musical is fantastic. I just accept the differences and move on, that’s what I usually do with book-to-movie things. Funny story, the entire cast would just keep singing the songs backstage the entire time, it was fun. @Christi-Eaton Eh, not really. I’m terrible at drawing, unless I have a picture to directly copy, in which case I’m still not incredible. (Unless I’m drawing cubes. I’m good at those. XD) My ten-year-old brother would beat me a thousand times over in an art contest, even on an Etch-A -Sketch.

So we read it, and then when you publish it you want reviews—you’re not looking for suggestions, correct? Just a review for other potential readers. That’s gotta be so exciting. Will you be publishing it just as an e-book right now, and are you self publishing?
Okay, I’ll hop over and contact you from your blog.

I shouldn’t be answering this ’cause I’m not that musical, but everyone I know is super musical and many have composed pieces. And since you’re trying to compose I assume you know the basics down. Chords, notes, and stuff.
First, invest in music theory. You can literally start by just googling music theory. I know…[Read more]

@sierra-r Don’t get me started on the Hobbit. Just don’t. That movie series crashed like a twenty-year old laptop. Those movies shouldn’t have been made. Let me just say that the romance between Tauriel and Kili . . . that was tacked on tension. It’s a master class on how to not do romance.
As for the Phantom? Girl, that’s my favorite musical!…[Read more]
