Yeah. I definitely wasn’t planning on dropping that little detail right off the bat. @kate-flournoy
@ethryndal YES! Kate is my hero.
Kate…I can’t tell if that was supposed to be a compliment or if you’re trying to tell me something… *winks* In all seriousness…really? Because I feel like when I try to do this by myself, my thoughts get…[Read more]

@aratrea @daeus *steps up to the podium* Here is my testimonial.
When I first joined Kingdom Pen, I had no idea what to expect. Although I had been writing for several years, I had only begun to scratch the surface of writing. From the Kingdom Pen writing courses to the rich vaults of articles, the scratching has grown into a dig. The Kingdom Pen…[Read more] -

OH MY GOODNESS @ETHRYNDAL, YOU DON’T JUST PRAISE PEOPLE TO THEIR FACES! XD
*can’t stop grinning* You have so totally got this, Elizabeth. It would be completely fine for her to come to grips with Blake’s truth and then spend the rest of the story deciding what she’s going to do about it. But I would be wary of that happening right away. That’s…[Read more]

Elizabeth replied to the topic Anyone Want to Play Forum Volleyball? in the forum Start HERE 9 years, 4 months ago
Elizabeth sees the @dragon-snapper proof ball on the ground, and picks it up with visible reluctance.
“Volleyball…is not my sport.” She decides to kick it instead. The ball flies high into the air…

Hello, my dear! I’ve missed you. I feel like I’ve been wayyyy to busy lately. @kate-flournoy
That might even mean her having her own agenda— to get Blake out of the prison so he stops threatening the security they had before he came with his awful stories, to name one example. That would be a good way for her to have an active role in the story i…[Read more]

The rolls to the ground, now splotched with @christi-eaton‘s tea, and Snapper is hesitant to pick it up. She flicks at it with her tail, and, deciding that it won’t eat her, pokes at it with her talons. The ball deflates.
“Oops. Sorry guys…Um…here.” She tries to re inflate the volleyball by breathing in to it, but the volleyball melts beneath…[Read more] -

@That_Writer_Girl_99 here I am! Thanks for your patience. 😉
Very good thing to start talking about, yes. Blake’s should probably be flat; correct. As for Kara, I’m thinking it’s going to be a bit of a mix between a disillusionment arc and a positive change arc.
What’s a disillusionment arc? Well… it’s a positive change arc. But instead of…[Read more]

@kate-flournoy Scratch what I said above. I think I want to talk about character arcs–especially pertaining to Kara and Blake–instead.
I haven’t decided which arc will work best for Kara, but I think Blake needs a flat arc. I mean, he starts out the story with a pretty firm stance on what he believes, and he starts on the right side of…[Read more]

The forums are wonderful. There are topics about anything and everything, and if you have a question, you’re absolutely free to ask away; even if you feel like the question is a lame one, it’ll get answered. I know that the forums have helped me to grow as a writer, and I’m eternally grateful for the people behind them!
@aratrea How’s this? Anything else?

Emma Flournoy replied to the topic Anyone Want to Play Forum Volleyball? in the forum Start HERE 9 years, 4 months ago
Emma stands there looking awkward because she knows nothing about playing volleyball. And she continues to stand around awkwardly.
Hi @Stewie-Plotter! Though I know nothing about that sport except that it’s something big groups play a lot, that stewarding stuff sounds like some good business, and welcome to the bestistest place on the internet. 😀

It’s about half and half. The forums are great for specific questions, but the articles are good for learning more about general topics.

Unfortunately, I can’t make it–I have church, but I really, really wish I could… @daeus
@dragon-snapper If the panel involves explosions, I think we may need the KP security guard…or a firefighter.
