@dekreel … *whiny kid voice* BUT I DON’t WANT TO MAJOR IN ENGLISH WAAAAAAHHHHH!
Too much reading and literary analysis and not enough writing. Haha! 😉
XD I think I’m probably the nerdiest and weirdest one of my family. And I love it. BWAHAHAHA–sorry.

@dekreel Haha!
Hey, this looks like a cool college. Nice academics. Cool website. Looks like it’s not too far from home either, only two hours… What kind of majors do they have? Communications–that’s good. Scroll down. Scroll around. Scroll down. Ummm… OK. *exits out of tab* No writing majors or minors. You’re out, so quit sending me mail. XD

You know you’re a writer when you decide not to go to a certain college because they don’t have any writing majors or minors…
You know you’re a writer when your only excuse for not reading is because you’re writing instead.

I was in the waiting room of a hospital ( I wasn’t ill or anything) and was reading a really good book. It’s called Addison Blakey: Confessions of a Pk and at one point I’m sure I was laughing out loud. I don’t know what the people at the hospital were thinking
@pickupyourpenandwrite Maybe something along the lines of, “Should we take this gi…[Read more]

@rocheillanne
You know you’re a bookworm when you get so engrossed in a book that when a character shrugs, you shrug, and when a character bangs his head, you get a headache.
I used to do this all the time when I read the Magic Tree House books. Whenever Jack shuddered, I shuddered. And all the things he did. XD I do that when I write too.…[Read more]

@seekjustice I’ve never read Silmarillion, but I would definitely choose LotR first anyway. XD

@dekreel It’s awesome isn’t it!
XD I might or might not have done that. Especially with some sort of dramatic music playing in the background?
You know you’re a writer when you talk to your character as you draw them, or scream at them, telling them to let you draw their nose or else… or else… or else you’ll kill them off!
But it’s an…[Read more]

@SeekJustice I agree with Emma, and recommend reading LotR first. As the Silmarillion is, basically, a history of Middle-Earth, not really a novel, I think having the other stories first and foremost in your mind would make it a bit easier to digest.

You know you’re a writer when you make Miis of your character on your Wii.
You know you’re a writer when you miss your character after a few days of not writing.
You know you’re a writer when you say things mainly because it’s a good line.
You know you’re a writer when basically everything in life goes back to writing applications.
You know…[Read more]

Well you all are geniuses.
I mean really. I’ve been struggling with this stuck-ed-ness for months.
I took a five day break.
SO WHY DIDN’T A TAKE A BREAK SOONER!
I went back to writing today after missing it…for once XD… and wrote 1397 words that I actually like in one sitting.
So yeah. I LOVE WRITING AGAIN AND THANK YOU GUYS SO MUCH!…[Read more]

@SeekJustice Hey, good idea! Good question too, and I’d actually recommend reading LotR first. The Silmarillion is meant more for someone who’s already quite familiar with Tolkien’s world, I think. The books specifically. It won’t make a ton of difference either way though. You’d appreciate both more after having read the other, so there’s not…[Read more]

@Amily-Huddleston Yay for Faramir and Jean Valjean! Two of my all-time favorite characters as well. And Les Miserables is the best. My favorite book.
Welcome to KP! 😀

Yay! Welcome, again, @amily-huddleston! 😉
Realistic fiction sounds cool. I write speculative/historical. I love how we can all work together and help one another, despite writing very different content. This really is the bestistest place on the internet!
*whispers* psst, @dekreel, sorry to point this out, but it’s ‘bestistest’. Lots of people…[Read more]
