It depends on the story. Do you need to provide the reader with some background information in the beginning of the book? If so, then I would suggest writing a prologue. If not, there isn’t any need. I am using a prologue in my WIP because I need to explain some of the conflict in the story. Hope this makes sense. 🙂

@ingridrd, I’m terrible at thinking up dares but your dare is to write about someone who is bully at school and then he finds out that he has a secret power. What does he do with it? *No idea if this is good or not.* I’ll try to do better next time.
