@bluejay I’m pretty tired (it’s past midnight), so I won’t be on later, but you guys have fun! 🙂

@bluejay, okay, bye! I’m not sure if I’ll be free, but I’ll let you know if I’m on and writing.
Enjoy your dinner! 🙂 -

@bluejay That’s interesting. I wonder what the difference is.

@ClaireC He does make them to sell. So if you really want one you can get one. Or you wait until I publish a book and have one as a giveaway prize.
@Bluejay I’ll be the shortest in a year or so. And things could be worse. I’ve got a friend who’s 18 and her 8 year old brother is getting closer to her height.

@bluejay, Yes! *glances around* *waves at old friend* Feels like I’ve been away from the Writers’ corner for, well, forever! I’ve haven’t done any writing in a few weeks and I’m experiencing withdrawals, so here goes!

@bluejay, I wouldn’t call myself a huge Hobbit fan. I mean, I enjoyed the book, but I wouldn’t say I loved it…Anyway, I didn’t really do those two references on purpose. They both just sort of popped into my head…I guess that just goes to show I’m a writer, always having ideas pop up suddenly (sometimes good, and sometimes bad! 🙂 🙁 )

@bluejay, Oooooohhh!!! *cackles in delight!* It worked! Thank you! ClaireC, at your service. (hmmm, where’s that from?)

Current Status – boring my mother as I tell her the entire plot of my book, (over several days) complete with names, backstory, ghosts, lies, truths, Thing-your-character-wants, Thing-your-character-needs, plot twists, etc. The whole load. She’s very patient. I’m finding it very useful to verbalize all my ideas, making sure everything makes sense.…[Read more]

@gideon-sowdon It’s very simple. Let’s use yours as an example. So click on your profile picture and you can see what your tag is @gideon-sowdon. Click on mine and it is @bluejay. Not everyone has their tag as their name. As in, Greta is her name, @gretald is her tag. Does that make sense? You’ll start to memorize them the more you use them.…[Read more]

@Julia-r Ah, you found it! Welcome to the writers’ corner, where writers from all over the world find a time when they write at the exact same time to avoid distraction. So, say I asked you to write for an hour, we would write for an hour then meet back here to touch base, see how many words we wrote and compare. It’s more of an accountability…[Read more]

Woah. *holds onto computer desk to keep from fainting* What is going on here? It looks awesome, but, like most people, I don’t have time to read all 54 pages of forum to find out. @dragon-snapper ? @bluejay ? @overcomer ? @clairec ? @daeus ? @jess ?

@anna-brie, sorry forgot the ‘@’ symbol in front of your name!
@clairec Thanks for the reminder. I’m sure I don’t thank Mommy enough for all that she does for us. I’ve begun to realize that she doesn’t have such a thing as free time; we 5 children take it all up. It’s hard for me to imagine making a sacrifice like that, every day, all my life like she has, and I really appreciate her. Three cheers for…[Read more]
@sarah-h. I call my parents Mummy and Daddy, but when I’m talking to other people, I generally say Mum and Dad.
@clairec It’s so true! My “mum” (I’m American, so I spell it “mom,” but I like the sound of “mum” more, for some reason… 😛 ) does so much for me, and I often take it for granted. 😉 Glad you’re able to sort out your plot and everything!
@gretald, Thanks! 🙂
