@bluejay @jess @dragon-snapper I got 512 written, which I think is my best this week since I was only here for about 45 minutes of my normal hour.

@kate-flournoy, I write basically for both. Sheer enjoyment and how I process things in life. It just depends on what I’m feeling at the time that I’m either on my computer or having a literal pencil in my hand. and of course you can read some of my stuff @bluejay! I should have my blog link on my profile but if not I can always shoot it to you

It was only a few instances (maybe five or so), but I actually didn’t realize I had that many. Now, simply from a pragmatic perspective,…[Read more]

@bluejay Pride and Prejudice! Mr. Darcy to Elizabeth Bennett after she finished freezing him with her icy reply to his somewhat-lacking proposal.
Here’s mine: “Darling, haven’t you ever heard of a delightful little thing called boarding school?”

@anne-of-lothlorien Never mind. I kind of cheated. =P It’s from an unreleased movie. Just wanted to infuriate someone.
@bluejay Pretty sure that’s a Jane Austen something . . . is it?

@perfectfifths, Welcome! I’m also Australian. I noticed you told @bluejay that you were from WA. I used to live there! But I live in Brisbane now. WA is amazing. It was sort of my first childhood home (actually that would be America, but I don’t remember that very well, so it would have to be Perth. Is that where you’re from?

@leumeister, Hi!! I’m Australian too! Before, @bluejay, @anna-brie and I were the only Aussies. It’s okay if you’d rather not say, but where in Australia are you from? And I noticed on @perfectfifths introductory thread that you guys are siblings. I live in Brisbane. Anyway, Welcome! Oh and by the way, you title (Hey guys, hi, um…) reminded me…[Read more]

@bluejay Hmm….well, Robin Hood was a real person, so that might qualify…or, maybe a story from the perspective of a mischievous ship’s boy on Captain Cook’s ship, exploring the South Sea Islands (I think)….I remember when I was that age, I liked stories about early American history: Indians and settlers, patriots and redcoats. Ooh, and…[Read more]

@Bluejay *seizes head and groans* I am SO sorry but I have nothing to give you! *curls into miserable ball*
It’s so awful, ’cause I’m always picking apart childrens’ stories for being dumb, or too generic, or badly done, or whatever, but I guess that makes me kind of a hypocrite since I can’t think of anything better myself. 🙁 If I think of…[Read more] - Load More
@clairec Yep it’s right. Rats, you beat me. 😉
Yay! 🙂 Well, it was a freak accident, I’d say, so I won’t hold it over your head. *winks and tries to look benevolent* *fails utterly and grins sheepishly instead*
