It makes sense why you want to do that! The reader does need to know the background of the protagonist.

@alia  It’s going okay. It’s hard not to overuse verbs of being though! My teacher found billions! Personally I don’t find much wrong with verbs of being, but…. *shrug* 🙂

@dekreel, I don’t just not like it, I loath it. Though I will have to admit J. K. Rowling is an amazing author. I’ve never actually read any of the books, but I have read parts and @charisetter has told me enough of the story.
