*gets hit with ink* *archs back spreading wings* WET! I’m WET!!! Cats and Catwings don’t like getting wet! Now I have to wash the ink off my fur! WITH WATER! At least my fur is black too.
Welcome @bethanysinkyroses *gos to attempt to wash off ink* WATER! -

@bethanysinkyroses That is interesting. I can imagine how it may help you though. Something I might think about next time I write. I myself feel I am an ambivert.

@bethanysinkyroses I will keep this in mind. Thanks. I have to say I may love writing but I hate drama. It is great you enjoy it though. I enjoy watching it just not doing it. It is incredible God even incorporates us into his “grand plan”. At least I think so.

@bethanysinkyroses Great question. >.> Short answer is no. Long answer is we hope to release it sometime in the next several months, but right now a lot of my time at least has been eaten up by rolling out this new web design. Once we have that done and rolled out, figuring out a release date for this is close to the top of my list of things to do…

@bethanysinkyroses For the novel I already have a clear climax in mind that leads on nicely to a second book. But, of course, I must persevere and actually reach that stage. And yes, I agree not all have to follow fantasy ‘guidelines’. All the best for your book. What is it that draws you towards morally and emotionally flawed characters?

@bethanysinkyroses My MC is bent on veangence & anger. Despite these being his drive for his actions it often leads to his downfall. However, he will change. I really like your setting. So when you say it isn’t classic fantasy do you mean it is only humans etc?

Thanks for your encouragement, @bethanysinkyroses ! 🙂 I haven’t tried the Mentorship space yet. I’m thinking about it, though. To be perfectly honest, two things, in particular, have made me hesitate from trying it.
One, is the possibility, especially since I’m one of the older writers in the group, that someone will offer to be my mentor…[Read more]

@jane-maree Good eye. It’s the “Extra” theme, which is also made by Elegant Themes and utilizes Divi heavily. So yes.
Oh; sweet. Tell you what. I’ll email you the access info for the dev site we’re testing things out on if she (or you) have time and interest in looking through it and giving us your feedback. None of the security stuff is set up…[Read more]

Thanks so much for sharing, @jane-maree and @bethanysinkyroses! If we continue to investigate this route, we’ll probably create a survey about it for our subscribers, but that’s really helpful to get as a starting point.

@jane-maree @bethanysinkyroses Not to take this conversation down a bit of a rabbit trail, but how often do you tend to meet with your mentors and what type of help do they tend to give you that you find most helpful?
The KP staff is currently in a lot of talks about what kind of new initiatives to consider taking on moving forward and providing…[Read more]

@bethanysinkyroses , I’m in the Y.W.W. program too! 🙂 Brett and Jaquelle are very helpful. They’re good mentors, but I’m kinda looking for another mentor too, ideally, someone who could give me more one on one attention and maybe even meet with in person. I’d like to learn from someone with more experience than me, especially when it comes to…[Read more]

@overcomer, I don’t have a mentor per se. I am mostly self-taught when it comes to writing, however, there have been a lot of people who have given input into my writing and helped me grow. as @Bethanysinkyroses said, your mentor doesn’t have to be that much older than you, and they don’t even have to be published. Also, are you looking for an in…[Read more]
