@aratrea @daeus Okay, as I have snooped around the new site, I did notice one thing: the “trending” page currently features some several-year-old posts. I’m assuming this is supposed to be the “most clicked/most popular” pages/posts/whatever. Just wanted to let you know in case it is an issue. 🙂

@aratrea *bubbles over with joy* *thrills* This is wonderful! Even better than I’d dared to hope! Thank you SO MUCH for the friendliness to my mobile device. Not that he ever sense a cold shoulder, but he did have a strange sensation he was a little too slow for the fast pace of life in the Kingdom of the Pen. 😀

@aratrea Pride and Prejudice, yes. It was amazing and lovely and perfect, but…it just failed to touch me on a heart level. It certainly taught me the dangers of sassing rich guys (and anyone for that matter) though!
I’ve never heard of the Death of Ivan Ilyich… *goes to reserve at library*
I’m actively seeking to read deep classics that will…[Read more] -

I suppose I should add that as I’ve matured, I’ve sought to read more classic literature. But I haven’t yet read a classic that has touched me on that deep of a level. Hopefully that can be remedied! 😛

@aratrea Growing up, the entire Anne of Green Gables series changed my perspective on life in many ways and on many levels. I know perhaps they aren’t perfect from a plot point of view, but I love them. Also, The Sign of the Beaver, The Witch of Blackbird Pond, and The Bronze Bow, all by Elizabeth George Speare all taught me a great deal. And…[Read more]

@catwing *grins at ink flying in all directions* You are relatively new, right? I think I read your intro post but I was busy that day and unfortunately didn’t get to say hi. I’m really glad you are here! Kingdom Pen is awesome, isn’t it?

@theacornman I was forced into doing drama and discovered I loved it. You get to experience a character in a whole new way-you *become* them. You have to know every intimate detail about them. To this day, I act out my character’s emotions when I am trying to determine how to describe what they are feeling.
At the same time, I understand that…[Read more] -

@aratrea Don’t worry- we’ll be glad to have it whenever it comes. I’m sure that the wait will be good for us-patience, you know, is always a virtue. 🙂 Maybe you could do a special Christmas bundle of books and mini-courses at the end of November.

@theacornman Oooo, sequels! Fun fun fun. All the best on persevering. I don’t know when it is releasing, but Kingdom Pen has a lovely and immensely helpful ebook on time management for Christian authors that has really given me perspective. I would highly reccomend it. @daeus @aratrea @sarah-spradlin Do you know when it is coming out?

@theacornman Sounda like great fun!! I’ve always been attracted to characters struggling deeply morally and emotionally. 🙂 Do you have a climax determined?
Yes, I’m really excited! Yes, there are no alternate races or magic or new worlds or portals-not because I’m against those but because they just don’t belong in this story. I do plan on…[Read more] -

@theacornman My novel is about a girl’s fight for joy and hope. I wouldn’t say it is classic fantasy, but that is the closest main genre. I’m having lots of fun characterizing the villains and doing research for the setting (a supervolcano.)

Salutations, @theacornman Welcome! 😀 How did you find Kingdom Pen? In my very unbiased opinion, it is the bestistest place on the Internet.
What is your novel about? I’m currently working on my first novel too. 😉 -
