Hey, you know what? I’m going to do this again, too. 🙂
@catwing Chara would probably rather be blind, because being deaf would shut out music and laughter, and that would be horrible! 😛 Same with everyone else. I mean, seriously! Who would pick being deaf over being blind?!
@jenwriter17 That question is barely worthy of being ans…[Read more]

@seekjustice Writers’ Corner seems to be the only topic that really survives here anymore. 🙁 I guess we discuss anything and everything here now. 😀
@ariel-ashira All the time except for some sports like zip lines or other aerial things. 🙂 I’m glad that I’m old enough to wear women’s clothes, because it’s a lot easier to find nice looking sk…[Read more]

@seekjustice Really? I hardly ever have heard cursing in folk music. But okay, thanks for the warning. 🙂 I’ll proceed with caution.
I remember flapping my arms around weirdly once with two of my, would you know it, homeschooled friends! 😛 We were playing a game in which we had to give crazy lectures on topics which we totally didn’t bel…[Read more]

@seekjustice I didn’t know Waltzing Matilda was an Australian song either! 😮 😛 The title of Click Go the Shears sounds very Australian, though. 😉 I’d love to see a – what do you call it, station? – sometime. We’re more cattle than sheep in America, I think. Thanks for the titles, I’ll look them up!

@seekjustice Since you have it in your email, you can just reply to it anyway, I guess. 😉

@seekjustice Well, I accidentally put two spaces between paragraphs, and being a perfectionist (sometimes?) I decided to edit it to make it look nicer. I guess it deleted after that. 😛

@seekjustice Cool. Well, yes, I guess other people do sing it. 😉 I learned it from a singing teacher we had a really long time ago when I was probably seven or eight years old. I’ve heard it in a medley of folk songs recently, though, and since those were mostly American folk songs I wondered if it was actually Australian or not.
You re…[Read more]

@seekjustice Today I was singing the old kiddie song, “Kookaburra Sits in the Old Gum Tree,” and wondered if you sing that in Australia, or if it’s just an American song about an Australian animal. So, I’m asking you. 😛

@jenwriter17 @kaya-young Goodnight to both of you!
Kaya, I hope you’ll be around more often! 🙂

Rochellaine replied to the topic Writers' Corner #16 in the forum General Writing Discussions 7 years, 12 months ago
@kaya-young Interesting. I love tweaking names to make them sound more cool. 🙂
It’s going okay. I’m a really slow writer, so there hasn’t been a whole lot of progress made, though I’ve done a bunch of editing.
Is the story you’re working on a book or a short story?

Rochellaine replied to the topic Writers' Corner #16 in the forum General Writing Discussions 7 years, 12 months ago
@jenwriter17 I don’t really care. I’m editing something for SeekJustice right now, so I’ll not be too impatient for yours. I just want you to know that I definitely want to read it when you are ready to let me! 😉
@kaya-young That’s a cool name! Does it have a meaning?

@jenwriter17 Remember, I get to read it when it’s complete! 😉
Yes, I’m working on my western…slowly…
@kaya-young Yay! You’re back! I haven’t seen you around in a while. How’s it going?

@jenwriter17 @alia Whew! I’m finally back! Are either of you writing now?
@seekjustice Hm, that’s a hard question. 🙂 I’ll have to give a qualified answer right now, because my opinions are biased based on my likes or dislikes of the actors portraying the characters in the production I saw. For example, the boy playing Davey was an okay act…[Read more]

@alia Yup, but…got to go! 🙂 Break is over because the garage still isn’t finished and it’s going to rain tonight. 🙁 Hopefully we’ll be done soon.
See you later, and happy writing!

@alia @jenwriter17 I’m on a short break again. How’s it going?

Rochellaine replied to the topic Writers' Corner #16 in the forum General Writing Discussions 7 years, 12 months ago
@alia Oh, yeah, I think so. 🙂 I think Jen was there, too. She and SeekJustice and Jess Penrose almost always crush me in word wars. 😛
Cool! I wish to be done by July 1st, but I doubt that’s going to happen. I’m a very slow writer. I’ve got to go now, so see you later! Maybe tonight, maybe Monday. 😉

@alia Hahaha! 😛 I did that once. I was having a ten minute word war, but about two minutes in I completely forgot and googled stuff about hospitals for several minutes before remembering, freaking out, and rushing back to continue writing.
How’s your book coming? Was it an actual plot hole, or did you figure out how to work it?

Rochellaine replied to the topic Writers' Corner #16 in the forum General Writing Discussions 7 years, 12 months ago
@alia 138 words. How about you?

Rochellaine replied to the topic Writers' Corner #16 in the forum General Writing Discussions 7 years, 12 months ago
@alia Um, okay. I’m trying to eat lunch at the same time as type, but I’ll try. 🙂 Make it five minutes, though, since I think my time’s almost up.
I’ll start after I post this, so just time yourself. 😉
