@jenwriter17 Slowly, slowly! My sister came in a few days ago and said, “I was just thinking, I haven’t read your book in a while, so maybe I can read the new parts now?” And I said, “There’s nothing new. I’ve written, like, a few paragraphs.” 🙁 Part of the problem is that I just don’t make myself sit down and write, though. I get dist…[Read more]

@jenwriter17 Haha, I’m sorry. I was telling SeekJustice a couple of days ago that the editing is the easiest part for me. It’s the writing that’s much harder! It can take me a couple of hours to edit something that took me several days to write. Sounds like you have the opposite problem. 😛

@jenwriter17 Yes! Seriously, you kept raving about Justice, but I didn’t like him in the first book because he was too emotionless, and while I like him better in this book, he’s now an emotional wreck, basically, and I much prefer Zac. SeekJustice says if Quillon came alive she’d marry him, but it’d have to be Zac for me. 😛
Ah, yes. And my…[Read more]

@jenwriter17 I think I’d had a nap that afternoon, and when I have a really long nap I don’t get tired at night. Therefore it’s not a very good idea for me to take a nap, usually… 😛
Of course he is! Zac is the best character out of both books. 😉
At the end of the document there are comments from a couple of the readers, which were pretty f…[Read more]

@ariel-ashira I think I’ve only read three of them, and since they’re stand-alone there might be a few that I would like. First-off, the thing that till make the most sense to you is I don’t like darkness. And his stories are full of that.
Now, about the specific stories. One was advocating the right to kill one person to save many. That is…[Read more]

@ariel-ashira Haha! I do get tired sometimes, you know. 😉
@jenwriter17 Nope. 😛 I think the lastest we’ve gone to was 4:00 a.m. one time. 😮
How’s it going? Who’s your favorite character now that you’re almost done with the book? (Give you three guesses on mine…)

@jenwriter17 Whenever I hear “superhero WIP” I become wary because I pretty much hate Josiah’s stories, but I’ll try to give an unbiased opinion. 😛
So…my first thought on reading your ideas was that if I read the book I would immediately think her grandparents were villains. Maybe you should play this up a bit, and either have her trust them…[Read more]

@seekjustice @jenwriter17 I don’t think I’m going to be on tonight. It’s been a pretty hectic day, and I’m really tired. 🙁 I guess I’ll see you tomorrow.
Happy writing/editing! 😀 *hands out leftover chocolate chip cookies from my grandmother’s birthday party this evening* *disappears beneath blankets into coma-like sleep* 😛

@jenwriter17 *blushes* Goodness! Thank you. 🙂
@gh24682468999 I write structured poetry. Daeus did too, but he’s not here anymore. (He’s one of those traitors that snuck off to join the enemy at Story Embers. 😛 ) I’m horrible at giving advice, but I would guess reading a lot of good poetry would help. I write mostly comic poems, so I don’…[Read more]

@seekjustice I never understand pinterest. 😀 I look at stuff on it once in a while, but not often.
I edit, and edit, and edit, too. 😛 But I do it with everything. All those little “first chapter” bits that I write when I have an idea, but not the time to complete it? I go through them all and edit once in a while, whenever I am looking fo…[Read more]

@seekjustice Is it strange that I don’t have a pinterest account? 😉
Haha, well, that’s the way I feel with my western. I was wondering if maybe we’re opposites when it comes to writing and editing? It takes me forever to write even a little, but I can edit pretty quickly, (as you might remember from the time I rewrote that passage of the w…[Read more]

@seekjustice Yup, yup! That’s what happens. You go on vacation, then you need a vacation from the vacation! 🙂
How is Stars coming along? Is it nearly done? (Translation: Will I get to read it again soon?)

@seekjustice And I’m working on, guess what? My western! 😛 Of course.
Did you have fun at camp?

@seekjustice Oh, I wish I could. 😛 But I’m afraid that doesn’t really count. Unless…are you thinking deeply over them in order to get ideas for how to improve your writing? 😉

@seekjustice I’m in bed, but I’m also starving, so if I convince myself to get up and find a midnight snack, I’ll be up for a while, and if not, I’ll fall asleep on you, but anyway, Hi! Are you here now?

@jenwriter17 Okay, goodbye. I once lived at a house for ten years before moving, so I get where you’re coming from. 🙁
@ariel-ashira Yes, I’m going to add that. I have just written the intro paragraph so far. I was asking for suggestions as to what else I should put in, but I had thought of that already. Don’t worry. 🙂 (I don’t think I’l…[Read more]

@ariel-ashira I did a lot of mine on Befunky.com, which is a free website where you can edit photos and make collages and stuff like that. That’s where I made my collages for my western and my story prompts from the Writing Prompt topic. It’s really cool.
