You did say you had a headache so I thought you might have gone to bed earlier. Obviously not though 😛
None of us are particularly musically inclined, so not really, but I do love when we do similar things at Youth group.
Well, some of the hymns we sing are “Come Thou Fount of Every Blessing” (one of my favourites) “Amazing Grace”…[Read more]

Sapphilon does sound pretty, I have to admit. But its just my opinion that any of them starting with a Q don’t sound that great.
Neither am I professional shipper (and yes, there surely must be such things). I don’t usually come up with these sort of things 😉

Haha 😛
I’m happy to call them Sapphire and Quillon but some people like to squash names together and I’m interested in how I can do it 😛

Oh yes, I’m back. I was just reading about contemporary Christian music though and got distracted.

Well, I’ve heard a lot of reasons why Christians shouldn’t listen to it, but I’ve never heard anything like that before.
I’m eating lunch, actually.

Fascinating! I didn’t even know people studied this sort of thing. Unfortunately, my knowledge of music basically extends to “this sounds nice, this doesn’t” so I don’t really understand all about chord progressions and such (I wouldn’t know a particular chord if it bit me). But still, its very interesting.

@rochellaine I can’t really chat now, but…
I didn’t know your brother had a degree in music! That’s really cool, including the part about how music affects people’s brains. What is it that you learned about contemporary music? (I don’t listen to contemporary Christian music either for the most part, just cuz I find most of it annoying)

That’s really interesting! What were the results of his study? (as in, why particularly do you steer clear of Christian contemporary music?) I don’t usually listen to it, for the simple fact that most of it is extremely unoriginal (come on people, we are worshipping and singing about the Creator of the Universe! Endless repetition of…[Read more]

I broke my habit of listening to musicals and I was actually listening to some contemporary Christian music. Tenth Avenue North, in case you were wondering. 😀 Its not too bad.
Well the Red Baron definitely was pretty scary, I would have been scared of him. But, in the end, he was just a very young man who needed God and had a…[Read more]

I think I like ‘What a Comforting Thing to Know’ best, just because its funny, but I also like…um, what’s it called. ‘Tell Him Anything’? and I do like “Position and Positioning’, even though it gets on your nerves about two minutes in 😀
Uh, probably you haven’t. Its this oneÂ
Well, originally I set it at 30hrs, but I’m…[Read more]

I haven’t listened to that in ages! I feel I need to rectify that at the next given opportunity.
Currently I’m proofing the short story version and another little story of mine which is being published in a book. (eep!!!)
And yep, I’m doing it, but I’m working on a few short stories for competitions and I’m setting my goal quite…[Read more]
