To be fair, I did have to Google “obscure sword terminology” to come up with Ricasso. But yeah, it’s an obsession XD

Yep 😂 a tang is the part of a blade that extends into the handle (you probably knew that one, right?), and a ricasso (great, now autocorrect wants to always make it capitalized 🙄) is the blunt part of a sword just above the cross guard to allow you to wrap your finger over the guard.

But Ricasso isn’t that bad, right? I kinda like it X…

I completley relate to what you wrote. I have OCD as well and am working through it in different areas of my life, but when it comes to writing, somedays I just think I need to quit writing altogether because it’s on my mind constantly.

I suppose I’m pretty late, however I don’t have much to say/add. I think everyone has given some advice/encouragement and all. 😊

I, too, don’t think to far into the publishing half of things… And I kinda just write because I have a strong love for my gang.
