Hi everyone! Recently, I made a resolution–to write some short stories in order to practice finishing stories. This…well, it’s something I have a hard time doing, and I–obviously–need to get better at it.
Anyway.
All of that to say–I’m starting a project, and I need y’all to help! Below, please put a fun fact about yourself, as well as…[Read more]

Hi guys,
I made another one. Btw, I don’t plan to keep posting these here, so if you want more of them, subscribe directly to the channel.
I’ll tag a few people I don’t think have seen these.

So, I’ve been working on a tagline for my site, Writing in the Light. Well, it’s a tagline for me, really. Something I can put everywhere – on my blog, on my social media. Basically, something that sums up me and my writing very well. I came up with a line earlier that I really like:
Breathing hope into the blackest night.
It sums up what I…[Read more]

@aratrea Thanks! I have two favorite superhero movies. First is the old 1960s Adam West, Burt Ward Batman movie. It’s really funny (Shark-Repellent Batspray is classic and a must-have!) , and the actors had great chemistry, I feel. Second is the new Spider-Man: Homecoming. I really like Spider-Man, and Tom Holland is one of the best actors for the…[Read more]

@aratrea that line is so sad! I also love “be careful with that one love, he will do what it takes to survive.” Sorry if I’m being boring, but there aren’t a tone of people in my life that I can enjoy Hamilton with 😛

‘Sup KeePers?
I has a question.
Just yesterday I had this crazy cool idea for an allegory, and I’m thinking about making it into either a short story or a small novella depending on how much gold I find at the bottom of the rubbish pile. 😛
But I’ve hit a head-scratcher already. (And I haven’t even had the idea for 24 hours. Oi.)How do you…[Read more]

@aratrea, Oh Burn is so good!!!!! “Do you know what Angelica said when she read what you’d done? She said, ‘you’ve married and Icarus, he’s flown to close to the sun'” That line gives me chills all the time!

@josiahdeboer Yay! The tag worked! Oh, and fyi, some people have weird tags. Like Josiah Degraaf. His tag ended up being @aratrea for some reason. Then Elizabeth is @that_writer_Girl_99
You’ll know if the tag worked if it’s blue.
Are you writing right now? -

@aratrea Thanks! I have so many ideas for books. I would like to write like an allegory. Along the lines of Narnia. Dragons, castles, king, and queens. Teaching children Biblical principles. But I’ve never gotten started it.:)

Wow! Ya’ll are so welcoming! Let me see if I can respond to all of you. @mariposa, that is really cool! I wish I was like that. It would be handy to be able to write with both hands.

@that_writer_girl_99, you might be more knowledgeable than you think 😀 And I definitely agree with you about role-model vs relatability
@thelifeofkatie, thanks for that! I’ve experienced the same thing, if I reread a book I often get very different things out of it than the first time I read it. That’s one of my favourite things about doing a…[Read more] -

@Aratrea, I’ve heard that it will be, but haven’t seen anything official that says it will be. Surely someone from here went, and maybe they heard an announcement and can tell us? @Audrey-caylin, maybe?
