@xonos-darkgrate I write mostly historical fiction, but have some ideas for a dystopian. Since I have so many I want to write, I try to just focus on a couple at once.
Do you write book length poems? I write poems, but not book length.

Thank you! This is helpful. I also read an older article Reagan Ramm wrote about cussing in stories, which had some good thoughts.

@xonos-darkgrate Hi! I don’t remember seeing you before. I joined the Kingdom earlier this year, so you probably weren’t around. Glad you are back just the same!
You aren’t alone because I still don’t know how to post a GIF either. 😉
What do you like to write?

@ariel-ashira Everyone’s answers were good, but what Seekjustice said is true. We can give you a bunch of tips and our opinions, but really it’s a matter for your conscience and personal prayer. I hope the answer comes to you soon! 🙂

I have been wondering about the use of swear words in my stories. As a Christian, is all swearing out of the question? Since I write primarily historical fiction, I want my dialog to reflect reality, but I also don’t want to go to far. (An example would be a roman swearing by Jupiter or some other god in his sentences.) Any ideas? Is ther…[Read more]

yes we lost a guinea pig in the spring. we’ve actually lost three over the last few years, two of them due to using the wrong bedding for their cage. We didn’t know that pine bedding wasn’t good for their respiratory system. 🙁

@ariel-ashira Of course I’ll be praying; I know how it feels to lose a pet. I hope you all will feel strength and comfort.
I’m glad there were no lasting effects from her concussion.

Please pray for my sister. When we moved to Idaho, we had to leave her bunny with friends in Kansas because we are renting and the landlord said no pets. We had hoped to bring her rabbit up soon, but…it died. This is very hard for our whole fa…[Read more]

@seekjustice thank you 🙂
Yes this makes sense. I’m not super familiar with Google Hangouts, so I’ll have to research that a bit more. I had been considering making a full website for it with forums and everything, but Hangouts sounds like a good idea. How would you share a document in hangouts so everyone could read it? And what do you think…[Read more]

@rochellaine I’ve heard of the movie, but I haven’t seen it or read the book.
haha, really? Don’t worry, we won’t attack you for not liking personality tests. 😉 is there a particular reason why you don’t like them?

Awesome, I’ll check these out. Thank you! 🙂 I’ve heard of both Singin’ in the Rain and Oklahoma! but I don’t know much about them.
@seekjustice I have seen Mary Poppins and I love it. 🙂
Not sure about the magic part, it depends. As for scary, well, I believe my siblings could handle it. 😉
