These are all awesome goals!

@mariposa I checked out your blog (thx for accepting friend invite btw 😘). your art is BEAUTIFUL! i looked at your ’25 days of Christmas’ pictures. I love the Bonanza and Rifleman pictures the best because i watch that show.

@winter-rose *props chin on fist and looks up at you with enormous, adoring brown eyes* When I grow up, I wanna write like you.

That. Was. Awesome.

@winter-rose I have to head out now. 😀 I wrote 733…

@winter-rose XD So are puppies. And all little things. 😀

One minute their cuddling, and the next they’re chasing nothing. Maybe their tails.

@winter-rose Aw, kittens. 🙂

@winter-rose Quiet well. 😀 Gearing up for 2018 (whaaa?) And you?

@winter-rose I am here! 😀

This is such a cool idea! I’d love to share some of the things I’ve learned and discovered…

How I get over writer’s block by summoning inspiration

Every single book I write I get writer’s block at least twice. It’s not fun. Because I really want to write, but the words won’t come or I just don’t feel inspired at the moment. Here’s what I do w…[Read more]

*gasps in shock* i can’t believe most of you haven’t heard of it! It’s so awesome! It’s a Christian writing conference for fantasy and sci-fi writers, and they have a special session for teens. you can check it out at realmmakers.net.

sorry, i don’t know any portal mechanics 😜

@aratrea you should definitely go!

@dekreel Nope, that’s good! Thanks!

@sam-kowal Never fear, my friend, I can promise you that somewhere inside that head of yours, there is advice that might help someone else. Thanks for your input!

@dekreel No, that’s great! I don’t mind the questions, and I’m happy to answer any more you might have. But would you care to be my guinea pig for a sec? If you had to summarize one of…[Read more]

@jenwriter17 Yeah…that’s a ways a way from me too, although I have heard of it before…

I find this conversation very depressing. 😉

Okay….soooooo.
I actually think that everyone else covered it. The one kill-dragon scene I wrote was terrible–perhaps I should have asked this question myself.

Besides, I can’t give away information on how to take down my comrades.

@supermonkey42 @sam-kowal @inkling-for-christ The Ice cream and raspberries were originally made popular by Daeus, just because he loved them and made mention of them at random times. I incorporated that into the LOKD, which is the first (as far as I know) of the Kapeefer Literature. 😀

Does that answer your question?

@dekreel For now, give me whatever advice you’ve got, on any subject. If I need something more specific, I’ll probably ask later, but for now, random advice will do!

@Introvert_girl good question. I haven’t given this a ton of thought, but my gut says you would have to acknowledge to the reader that this is different.

You can’t let the new characters try to fill the shoes of the old ones; it won’t work. You should make it clear that this is their story now… and that the world has changed to need them as…[Read more]

@bethanysinkyroses heyyyyyyy, welcome back! I was wondering where you went. 😀
