@dragongeek Welcome to the site! I’ve listened to a fair amount of Two Steps from Hell and like them a fair bit. 🙂
Are you working on writing any stories currently? If so, what’s it about?

@sam-kowal Welcome to the site! Sounds like we have a lot of the same favorite authors between Sanderson and Austen, among others. 🙂
@emily Yeah; unfortunately I don’t have enough web coding knowledge for that. 😛 Those kinds of features will have to wait until we can bring a legit web designer onto our team.

@ethryndal To be honest, even though I’m not the most active forum member, it seems like you’ve been around for a lot longer than that. 🙂 So glad to hear about how much this forum has helped you in your writing life!

@allison-grace I have a lot of recommendations. Have you checked out our resource library yet? We’ve got our official staff recommendations in there, and I’d just be repeating what I’ve already written there. xD

@theacornman How many words do you have in your WIP? We should be able to make the UK time zone thing work.
@lady-iliara Sweet–no problem!

@lady-iliara Are you still open to working on some of your completed projects, or are they done and past? If the former, between that and the two chapters of your current work, we could probably make that work for this project.
@dragon-snapper Unfortunately, for this is does need to be live.
@aislinn-mollisong Yep–that would be fine. 🙂

Hey KaPeeFers!
We’re working on something pretty cool and ultra-top-secret at the KP team. 😉 And we need 3-4 volunteers who are willing to be guinea pigs for our next project.
Here’s what we’re looking for:
-Someone who’s currently an active writer who’s at least 25% of the way through their current novel.
-Someone who can commit to meeting…[Read more] -

(As a clarification, current forum members can stay on till they’re 30; we won’t accept new members when they’re over 25, but we’ll grandfather current members into the forum until they hit 30, at which point we’ll figure an alumni board out or something). 🙂

Josiah DeGraaf replied to the topic 2nd person mystery? in the forum Short Story Critiques 7 years, 5 months ago
I’ve never heard of a 2nd person narrative actually working. Everyone I’ve read on the subject say it’s only a gimmick and doesn’t end up doing well w/the exception of the narrow choose-your-own-adventure sub-genre. Since it’s only a short story, if you want to experiment, then by all means go for it! But I also wouldn’t personally recommend it. 😛

@supermonkey42 Chirrut was awesome. I wasn’t a huge fan personally of Rogue One, but Chirrut was easily my favorite character. That scene where he chanted his Force anthem like a creed while being shot at was so awesome.

Hey Cloudy! Yes–I definitely understood that and that would be fine. In this case, I think we’d prefer not to include a picture along with it (just a bio), but you definitely don’t need to give us a profile pic if you don’t want to. 🙂

@sleepwalkingmk Yeah–it’s funny how that works. I wonder at times if it’s God’s way of showing us that we /aren’t/ self-sufficient. Even to change who we are and pursue greater sanctification, we need His work in external circumstances to be shaping us into the people he’s called us to be. That’s a great example of how God’s done so in your own life!
