@Anne-of-Lothlorien Aaah that never ending story is so never ending! It’s like kid book covers where the subject of the book cover is holding the same book it’s on, with the same picture of that character holding that book with that character holding that book on it!!! (Richard Scarry’s Bedtime Stories 😀 )
Or standing in a room with mirrors on…[Read more] -

@Anne-of-Lothlorien I’ve read a few, like The Princess and the Goblin. I really like them.

@anne-of-lothlorien I love all of the How to Train Your Dragon soundtracks. I think my favorite is Forbidden Friendship and Test Drive and The Vikings Have Their Tea and This Is Berk…and all of them. Ah, John Powell’s Dragon Songs are all awesome.

@Anne-of-Lothlorien yes! Proof of Your Love, For the Dancing and the Dreaming, all the Piano Guys’ songs (check out Arwen’s Vigil.) and Edge of Night— I can’t even sing that without getting chills. 😀
A newfound favorite of mine that actually reads more like a hymn than anything else is this one: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rMH0UwzlUL4

Hey look at me. I’m actually doing pretty good with this tagging stuff.
*applauds you* Keep at it. 😀
No, I haven’t read anything by him. Is he a modern author? The father of Christian fantasy…I thought that might have been a while ago.

@Anne-of-Lothlorien no, I haven’t. He sounds really good though. Is it high fantasy (epic) or heroic fantasy (personal)? Or a mix? LotR is a mix.

‘Edge of Night’ by Billy Boyd from Lord of the Rings
Ooh yes, I love that one! Have you heard/seen ‘The Last Goodbye’ by Billy Boyd, at the end of the last Hobbit movie? It’s one of my favorite credit songs for sure.‘Test Drive’ from How To Train Your Dragon

@anne-of-lothlorien Thanks for the welcome and that’s all good to know! I’m working on all of the books. And none of them. For NaNo I’m going to try and finish a Sci-fi I started a while ago called Beta Sun. We’ll see.

Hi everyone!
College. That’s what’s next. After a few more years of high school then off I go. COLLEGE. Some words can be so easy and short to say and spell, but they speak levels of meaning.
What I’m asking you all for is any college suggestions, considerations or universities that have good writing courses. And I’m not just asking those who’ve…[Read more] -

I could happily strangle you, @anne-of-lothlorien for tagging me on a post like that on Monday morning. No warning of spoilers either. Mom, Joy, and I watch Poldark (love the show) but we can’t watch it live so we stream it from the PBS Masterpiece site on Mondays (did you know you could do that, @Christi-Eaton? PBS has it for free on their site…[Read more]

@Anne-of-Lothlorien I haven’t either. Is it good even though he died?
But guys, even though they ruined Kili in the movie with Tauriel, they did deepen his relationship with Thorin and Fili and Bilbo!! Doesn’t that count for something? I love that aspect, even though it wasn’t in the book. Doesn’t anyone else think so?

@Dragon-Snapper I think @Daeus meant it as a reference to that song. 🙂
@Anne-of-Lothlorien, I think that would be a really good one, with “I’ll Fly Away” being the song the boy sings.

@anne-of-lothlorien Unfortunately not. I liked Aidan Turner well enough in The Hobbit, but I don’t watch a lot of television shows. Although I’ve noticed that everyone who has watched it raves about it. 🙂
Btw @daeus Sorry for being so absent; school and road trips have really gotten in the way…
