Just reading your unedited message and laughing. We have our on words for “scanty underwear”, but for whatever reasons thongs is the name for shoes of various descriptions.

True. 😀 We went to tropical Australia in winter and we were all wearing shorts and thongs, but the locals were putting on cardigans 😛

@seekjustice Haha, but you’ve got to think of it from other perspectives.  I have some Alaskan friends who go outside in bare feet when it’s -6 degrees Celsius, and some friends from (I think) some African country who say they shiver in their blankets when it’s 21 degrees Celsius!  It all depends on what you’re used to. 😉

Oh, don’t worry about it then.  If you’re that close it’s fine, since I have my final exams on Thursday and Friday, so I won’t be able to read it before then.

Um…when its summer here it can get up to 45 degrees. Which is…113 Fahrenheit it seems. But usually its around the high 30s. Currently its 4 degrees and it gets much colder than that here. I live in a part of the world that revels in extremes.

I’m hoping to be done with this part tomorrow, but I can’t make any promises 😀
