@seekjustice, right? most of my friends are guys, and according to my two gal friends most of the time I talk to a guy is considered flirting by society, but for the life of me I can’t see where the friendly conversation ends and the flirtation begins.

honestly, sometimes being a writer is hard because in order for us to write something like flirting well, we actually have to go and do it ourselves, which just ends up being awkward

@seekjustice, well Zac still flirted better than I can. Which isn’t saying much because A. I don’t flirt, and B. I’m sure I would be terrible at it. But hey! At least Zac is better than someone

@rochellaine, yeah, I guess that is part of it. Probably the main reason I don’t ship them because it wasn’t til near the end of book two that I got the impression that Justice made the faith his own and not simply thinking believing in God was all that mattered.

Ooh, and I agree with what you said to @valtmy about the whole leader thing.

@rochellaine, honestly, if a guy did that to me I’d find it pretty darn romantic, but like I said, there’s just something about those two. I don’t even know what it is, but for some reason I do not ship them. No clue why.

@rochellaine, well I guess @seekjustice failed with getting me to ship them through the window scene, because I like them as friends and really hope Chessy gets over liking him and he gets over liking her because I really like them as friends, but not as a couple. I don’t know, its just something about them together doesn’t appeal to me

@rochellaine, wait, he didn’t? Never mind, ignore what I said then I thought he did and that annoyed me, but if it was all what other people saw then it makes sense and is fine.

@seekjustice, I get him appearing like that in someone else’s POV, but when it was like that in his too is when it started bothering me a bit.

@seekjustice, @rochellaine, just to be clear, beta readers are kind of what y’all are doing with @valtmy ‘s and what you did with Seekjustice’s book, right? where you read it part by part and critique it?

@seekjustice, I didn’t really like Justice in book one either because I felt like he was a robot. He didn’t feel very realistic to me except for him not wanting anyone to die. But even that was more like he didn’t want anyone else to die.

Oh good, I thought for sure I was going crazy with that thought

@seekjustice, @rochellaine, doesn’t the song Proud of Your Boy from Aladdin kinda reflect both Justice and Zac during the bar fight? not completely, but somewhat?

(it probably doesn’t but I’m listening to that broadway right now and that song just came on and so that thought lept into my brain)

I mean, I knew he was going to turn out better, but even before he did I could see that he was acting the way he was as protection against getting hurt. Which made him opening up to Chessy so easily and quickly a bit confusing.
