@winter-rose , what about that last verse doesn’t work for you? Do you think it’s disjointed?
Hmm … they are a bit on the bumpy side, @daeus . Do you think they could be tweaked and made better? If you have any thoughts on that I’d appreciate it. The hardest part for me when it comes to…[Read more]

Hey guys,
Here is a silly little poem I wrote a while back. I’d love to know what you think of it, whether you have any ideas for improvements, etc. I’m just calling it “A Couple of Birds” for now, but if you think of a more appropriate title let me know. 🙂
Thanks! 🙂
P.S. (Just be honest and say so if you don’t like it. I value your…[Read more]

@Ethryndal yes! I’ve seen the BBC series of it and I started the book, but I hate electronics and it was on kindle, so I’m kinda looking for it in physical format (unabridged 😛 ) before finishing it.
That love triangle was actually not my favorite just because I didn’t care all that much for Pet Meagles, and I was mad at Arthur for falling for…[Read more] -

Mallory O'Bier replied to the topic Discussion for Video Two: The Importance of Theme in the forum Discussion Questions 9 years, 7 months ago
I think theme is exciting because it takes a vague idea for a story helps me shape it into something I don’t just want to write because it’s interesting, but need to write because it matters to me. Theme helps me come up with a message for my story, and goals for my characters.
