Well, mainly for me, it’s ‘mate’. If you’re trying to sound Australian in America, you use your all’s accent, and then you add ‘mate’ to the beginning or end of your sentence. 😀

@That_writer_Girl_99 if that’s what you feel like you need to do, go for it. I’ll be here just the same.
If I may be allowed to make a suggestion, maybe you should try a short-story or two. Just to get in the practice of completing things and making a coherent whole without all the work and indecision of a full novel.
