@hope and @adry_grace
I think I’d pretty much side with you, Adry. I like to think of moral dilemmas like these in terms of what we do know and what we don’t know. A soldier who is wounded and can’t escape from an oncoming enemy and has information that could endanger thousands of lives if the enemy gets a hold of it knows certain things for…[Read more]

@adry_grace I’ve never been a fan of the “Which do you save the one or the many” questions.
Ah, but this is such a hard question…one you can use to torment characters no matter what your stand on it. The same with mercy killings. I can’t really argue for them because I don’t believe killing is right. And yet, because everyone agreeing doesn…[Read more]

@adry_grace The trouble is the family doesn’t leave. There is no mention of it. It is night time and their all tired, so I guessing they’d just go to bed.
I’ve been trying to think all night, but every time I come up with an idea, I end up knocking it back. 😛 -

When I read the bit that you posted @adry_grace about Eon and Egypt, I thought of her as a love interest. 🙂 If that’s any help with deciding what to make her.

@Adry_Grace Oh yes, the stories I could tell. Especially considering my personal obsessive-brainstorming has been around since I was twelve. It’s sheer size is getting ridiculous, but I’m not going to lie, watching it grow and change into something that I think is actually worth writing down has been pretty amazing.

My characters tend to become real to me so I can talk about them forever.
@Adry_Grace you are most definitely not the only one. 😀

@Adry_Grace I know exactly how you feel. I could gab on and on about my characters, and their backstories. Yours sound really interesting. Would you say Eli and Millenia are more like really good friends or maybe a mentor-student type relation?

@Adry_Grace Exactly! I actually thought there might be some obscure 50’s-60’s adaption of Rose in Bloom out there. Tragically, I was mistaken.
It shall truly be a glorious time for the English language.

@Adry_Grace Mentally scaring is another good way to put it.
Yes! Not that I don’t love Little Women, but she has other work that I think are just as good. Where’s our movie adaptions of Little Men and Rose in Bloom?
And yes! Some day huzzah will rise from the ashes and take wing into our modern day vocabulary!

@Adry_Grace Huzzah! Little Men deserves more appreciation. Did the version you saw have a rather bizarre musical number where the majority of the cast doubled as mermaids and sang a song? That bit was…strange.
Calligraphy is so pretty. Do you use markers or do you have one of those fancy ink-and-pen sets?

@Adry_Grace *Shakes hand back.* Nice to meet you too! Louisa May Alcott is one of my favorite authors too, and I love Little Men. Have you read Independence? It’s one of her short stories and another one of my favorites.
I’ve heard about Peter and the Starcatchers, and I saw the play/musical performance once. I have a feeling it wasn’t the…[Read more]
