@emma-l A hearty welcome to you! I just recently heard of Lamplighter books. Any recommendations besides the ones you and @christi-eaton have already mentioned? Are you working on any writing projects right now?
Also my sister loves to listen to Irish music! I wish I could record your Irish whistle, she’d flip!
Glad to have you…[Read more] -

@Northerner Beowulf! Yes!!! And Sir Gawain and the Green Knight— YES! And Anglo-Saxon history— YES. All that stuff is amazing. And the SCA sounds really fun.
Question— have you read ‘Beyond Sing the Woods’, by Trygve Gulbransson? It’s a really old book, and Norse, not Anglo-Saxon, but I really like it.

@bluejay Ah yes, Rachel Whitaker, how could I forget! Every time they said that I thought of Adventures in Odyssey. :p We watched it as a family and were thoroughly impressed. It’s a great film to capture what happens to a large amount of students coming from a Christian home.

Welcome to KP, @Emma-L. 😀 Glad to have you here! We are quite an assortment of characters on this forum (no, for real) but don’t let us freak you out. We’re all well-intentioned. 😉
Ooh, The White Gypsy! I haven’t read it, but I’ve heard the audiodrama and I love it. Have you heard the audiodrama?
