Awesome as always!
D’aaaaawwww. 😛 😛 😛
I commented on the forum— no sense repeating myself twice. In case you were wondering, repeating yourself twice is kind of like dejavu all over again. Except… yeah. Dejavu all over again.
That would be creepy.
But hey, so glad you enjoyed it! I’ll post over there in the forum as soon as I get the chance. 😀
Great stuff! Another awesome podcast. 🙂
My 10 and 7 year old brother took you very seriously on the intro, there. You are now very enthusiastically requested for a children’s party. XD
Awesome. My booking is wide open. All I need is the date, locations, and $3,000 in unmarked bills. 😛
I heavily relate to Bryan’s writing habits.
No outlining. No nothing.
Just massive rewrites.
Yeah, it was really interesting to hear it from this perspective, because OUTLINE OUTLINE OUTLINE has always been hammered into my skull, and now it’s hmmm . . . maybe I can just go for it.
But massive rewrites though. 😛
I love the poetry reading! XD
So, just to be honest, when I first heard this podcast was going to be a thing, I thought “Oh, whatever. A podcast, really?” and I listened to it just to see how bad it was….I LAUGHED OUT LOUD LATE AT NIGHT AND TEARS CAME OUT OF MY EYES I WAS LAUGHING SO HARD!
Since then, you have not disappointed me. Well done, fine sir. Well done. I followeth.
Oh, believe you me, that’s how most people probably view/ed it. XD But I’m glad we didn’t disappoint!
Then again, you may be biased because you got free stuff from the first giveaway. 😛
I am finding myself eagerly anticipating Mondays now! Each episode cracks me up and the interviews are awesome. Listening at night while trying to go to sleep is baaaaddd….muffling laughter in the pillow doesn’t work very well. XD As far as laughter goes, you haven’t topped the Moose story from the first episode yet. But the interviews keep getting better and better. I’m not sure I could handle the hilarity of Moose stories every week, anyway. XD You know what would be REALLY nice? A Podcast twice a week. Huh? Huh? Ok, never mind.
By the way, I’m fairly new to Kingdom Pen, and I just watched ya’ll’s short film, “The Seventh Seal”. Daniel, your acting was BRILLIANT. I cried so hard when you died. I’m not exaggerating. You guys were all amazing, and the story has haunted my mind all week. Awesome work! More short films would be awesome to see. 🙂
TWICE A WEEK? O.O BUT I’M IN COLLEGE!!!!!
But hey, so glad to hear you’re liking it! And hey, you watched Seventh Seal! Oh gosh, it’s been years since I made that. 😛 You CRIED when I DIED? Wowza . . . that’s impressive. I didn’t know we had that strong an emotional impact. XD
You never know with short films. They take a lot of time, effort, and sometimes moneys to make happen. But we do have a writing series coming out, cutesy of Josiah, so at least there’s that. I’m wrapping edit on a very large short film I made last year; hopefully that’ll exist before too terribly long . . .
HAHA! Yeah, I had a feeling that my humble suggestion wouldn’t go over very well. 😉
I DID!!! You ran into the room with that key and then the hunter started talking…I curled up and was whispering out loud, “Oh no no, he’s gonna die, he’s gonna die!” It was pretty pitiful, actually. XD I think it was the fact that your character was just so cool, calm, collected, and never lost faith. Very inspiring.
Short films sound like they are a pain in the neck to make, but they sound like fun. I’ll keep my eye out for that large short film!
Thanks for all you guys do at Kingdom Pen, I’m planning on sticking around here for a while. You guys are doing something special. 🙂
I tell you what, if I got paid for this gig, you bet I would do two a week. I absolutely love what I get to do with the show. I’d do it all the time.
That IS pitiful. 😛 😛 Yeaaaaaah, it’s easy to be cool, calm, and collected when you’re not actually going to get shot to pieces.
Well . . . yeah, they’re a pain. XD I love them to death, but I simply haven’t had time to make one since “Read Me”. Have you seen Read Me? Let me grab the link to Read Me . . . https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bs2nd9jEX-o
Well thank you for being a part of it! 😀
Hey, I like math! I mean, geometry though.
Geometry is the best math of all the math. 😛
Now with that, I will actually have to agree. If you have to do math, Geometry is the math to do.
Algebra is the bane of my existence.
I actually have used algebra in real life, though. It’s useful for figuring out how to set up an even amphitheatre out of a set number of chairs. 😛
Geometry has it’s fair share of rules that keep it mostly from being the bear that algebra can be.
And despite all it’s usefulness on the simple side of thing, I have never once, nor shall I ever, use imaginary numbers.
I hope.
Yes, Daniel. There is always hope.
XD
Best show so far I think. Keep trying 🙂
I like science and math. At least I don’t dislike math. I haven’t done it for too long. But Math is good. There’s only one right answer. Usually.
Well thanks Bria! Glad you enjoyed it!
But, you see, I like having LOTS of right answers. 😛
I mean if you do it right you are certain to get the answer. With writing there are so many variables. It’s a big, fun, complex mess.
Yeah, that’s true. Don’t get me wrong, Math has it’s own set of beauties. The patterns that can be derived from algebraic equations are amazing, but the rules that hold everything together are so simple. It’s a simple complexity that’s linked so deeply in our everyday lives without us even beginning to comprehend it.
I do, however, prefer people. And I think that’s why things like writing and podcasting appeal so much to me.
YES. People are infinitely preferable. 😀
Yesterday I started comparing story to really complex equations. I still don’t know what some things need to equal to get the desired answer though. It’s tricky.
There is a train of thought out there that suggests that even a human being can be reduced down to an algorithm, into which you plug major life events and key elements that defines that person’s actions.
With something like people and story, I’m not sure that’s something you would ever WANT to do. Then again, I have seen math creative beautiful things. Who’s to say it could not produce a story? I simply don’t know. And I’m not sure I want to know. I’ve been tempted to research it.
I can so see Daniel on Monday mornings. Long live the death glare.
So many death glares, Brandon. So many death glares.
I hope it’s not too late to enter the contest!! By the way I saw the synopsis thingy on Bryan’s website and saw SINGAPORE. As a character? Wow. Has Bryan been to Singapore before?
Hmm…I can’t access his blog though. Seems to be a glitch somewhere or something.
Odd. Try typing in “theauthorschair.com” and see if that works for you.
I’m afraid it is too late. 🙁 I’m sorry. I believe Bryan has already contacted the winner video email. That said, there’s a new content we’ve opened up on the most recent episode, and you’re welcome to have at that. 😀
You said the “in hole in the bottom of the sea” thing! My great-grandfather used to sing it . . . so fast, I couldn’t understand any of the words except for “in the hole in the bottom of the sea.” 🙂
