What is a KP Spotlight?
KP Spotlight is a feature which allows us to learn more about the great people we have in the Kingdom Pen community. We want to know what writing projects you are working on, and what unique experiences you have in your writer’s journey. Through this, we will interview you, share your website/blog if you have one, and just help the community get to know you a little better! Check out a previous KP Spotlight for a clearer idea of what all they entail.

Good luck KeePers! And we hope to hear from you soon.
Keep writing!
Oops, I just put in an application but forgot to upload the resume. Should I redo the application? Thanks 😀
I applied as well; which did you apply for?
Writing intern 🙂 My poetry is pretty cringy. 😛
Nice; I applied for the Poetry Editor. I didn’t end up uploading a résumé either (I think).
Hi! You don’t have to do the entire application over again. You can just send your resume in document or PDF form to Kingdom Pen at kingdompensubmissions@gmail.com with the subject title “your name – resume”, and we will review that along with your application. I hope this helps. 🙂
What if I don’t have a résumé?
It’s pretty easy to write one 🙂
Resumes aren’t required, so you don’t have to worry about it. We put the resume option in the application in case applicants want to expand upon their experience, qualifications, etc. If you want to write one, it is pretty easy to make – like SeekJustice said – but you won’t be disqualified for not having one. I hope this answers your question. 🙂
Okay, thanks for the note! I won’t worry about it.
Hi! I’m sorta new around here (I visited last year, but saw you were on hiatus; then, recently on Facebook, I saw you guys were back.) I was wondering if you hold these internships every year? I can’t sign up this year because I’m working through summer school. Thanks so much for your time.
Hi Lily! Yep! We will be opening up internships next year as well. So definitely be on the look out! 🙂
Okay, thanks so much! 🙂
