By Daisy Torres

Well the ocean is lonesome,

When it doesn't have a voice

And maybe I'm the only one who's noticed,

Perhaps it was by choice,

That even trees get lonely,

When they lose their joy.

Take me to the river,

Drown me in your grace.

Toss me in the water,

But help me finish this race.

Whisper in my ear,

All the things you want me to hear.

I'll do anything, You know.

Just to have You near.

Walk me through the fire,

Help me shine brighter.

I'll go through anything, You know.

Just to have You near.

I've started to realise,

That it's not You who struggles to hold on,

It's me.

So put me through the embers,

Of a blazing past.

And walk me on the water,

Past the ship's rolled up mast.

I'll do anything, Jesus.

Just to have You near.
