Since there’s a topic ‘you know you’re a writer when….’ I thought it’d be cool to do one for bookworms. ‘Cause we all know most if not all writers are bookworms. So let’s get this rolling!
You know you’re a bookworm when you feel each emotion of the main character.
you know you’re a bookworm when limited shelf space makes you depressed.

You know you’re a bookworm when you finish a book at 6 in the morning because you couldn’t put the book down.
You know you’re a bookworm when you’re sad the story’s over, because now you have to say goodbye.

February 2, 2018 at 7:32 pm #62153You know you’re a bookworm when you read a book in a day, and then wish you hadn’t read it so fast, because now there’s nothing else to read.

February 2, 2018 at 7:35 pm #62154You know you’re a bookworm when you hate a book so much that you want to throw it across the room, but you restrain yourself because the cover is pretty and you don’t want to hurt it.

@livgiordano @skredder Yes, good books end waaaaay too soonI'm a Kapeefer 'TIL WE'RE OLD AND GREY!
www.jennaterese.comFebruary 2, 2018 at 9:17 pm #62174@jenwriter17 You know you’re a bookworm when you get so engrossed in a book that when a character shrugs, you shrug, and when a character bangs his head, you get a headache.
You know you’re a bookworm if when you were twelve if you were reading your mom had to physically shake you before you could hear her talking. (I trained myself out of that because it was not a useful habit.)

February 2, 2018 at 9:58 pm #62183@rochellaine Oh my goodness I literally did that just yesterday when I was reading A Time to Die, by Nadine Brandes. When the MC sighed, I sighed. When she grinned, I grinned. I hope no one was watching me, lol.
Lol, I didn’t do that very much, but once in a while when I had a super good book.

www.jennaterese.comFebruary 2, 2018 at 10:06 pm #62187@jenwriter17 Hahaha! 😀 But sometimes I don’t like it, because I have such a fearful imagination that if the character gets hurt, if I am paying enough attention to the story that part of my body will actually start to hurt. I have several times had to stop reading to rub my “stubbed” toe or pinch the bridge of my nose to cure my “headache”.

www.jennaterese.comFebruary 3, 2018 at 9:53 am #62247@jenwriter17 You know you’re a bookworm when the tensest, most heartbreaking moments of a book make you get up and start pacing around the room, and the severe losses make you physically start banging the floor.

Also, Daeus has 22 turtles in his signature.February 3, 2018 at 1:07 pm #62276@sam-kowal I’ve thought about getting up to pace while reading before, but I didn’t want my family asking me why I was pacing, ’cause it would ruin the suspenseful moment.

@livgiordano Yes!!!! I have often regretted reading a book too fast XD
You know you’re a bookworm when you keep wondering what ever happened to the characters after the book ends. This has happened to me with almost every Kingsbury novel I’ve read XD
February 3, 2018 at 2:22 pm #62281@radically-surrendered I do the same!
You know you’re a bookworm when one book ends in a major cliffhanger and you’re legitimately mad at the author ’cause the sequel isn’t out yet.

You know you’re a bookworm when you start talking like the characters in a book
*coughjaneaustencough*
You can pronounce it however you want.
February 3, 2018 at 2:27 pm #62283You know you’re a bookworm when you’re surrounded by people and you suddenly start laughing when you remember your favourite scene from the book you’re reading 😀Or when it happens at school. 😝
