        Hmmm… this is a tough one. I don’t know how much I can help you with this but one thing I always try to remember is, what happens at the climax doesn’t matter as much as what happens leading up to it. Literally, whatever your mc has been trying to get throughout the whole story, just take it from her. If there’s some romance, through a curveball in it. Literally, just mess up everything she has ever wanted and completely take everything she needs to win the final battle or whatever the climax is in your story away. This will heighten the tension while at the same time making the odds of winning seem next to impossible. I found an article that might be helpful.
