      @his-instrument No, I didn’t know. I look forward to it. 🙂 I love How to Train Your Dragon 1 & 2.
      Well, it might be a bit of a long wait. My Mum reads through my stories when they are done, and she has a rather long list to go through with King Wilfred the Hero on the bottom. 😉

          @winter-rose the author is Dorothy Sayers. You might be able to find it online. I found it in a collection of short stories. Okay, while I’m on the topic of short stories I have to ask: has anybody read “The Ransom of Red Chief” by O. Henry? It’s probably my favorite short story of all time.

            @his-instrument, I enjoyed Random of Redchief! However, I didn’t care for the other O’Henry stories, with the exception of The Last Leaf. I like Rudyard Kipling’s short stories the best. ?

              @his-instrument I have! It’s one of my favorites, too.

                The Last Leaf was good. I like that O. Henry always has a twist in his stories, but none of the others stand out to me. I liked Rudyard Kipling’s Rikki-Tikki-Tavi, but I don’t think I’ve read any of his other short stories. Are there any that you recommend? @jess @sarah-hoven

                  @his-instrument, My favorite was “The Beginning of Armadillos” for Rudyard Kipling. It poke fun at evolution, and it’s a fun read. (I tried to insert a link, we’ll see how it goes! )

                        Thanks @jess! I’ll check it out! Have you read The Jungle Book? I read the abridged version when I was younger, but I really want to read the original (it’s on my list but I’m working on Les Mis right now and that will take a while. 🙂 ) I grew up on Disney’s animated Jungle Book and I’d love to read the novel.

                          @his-instrument, No not yet. That book is on my “someday” list! 🙂 I watched Les Mis, and had no desire to read the book! (I’m not one for sad stories. :)) I believe “The Jungle Book” was a collection of stories, with Mowgli being the main character in most of them. I used to love the animated Jungle Book! Even now, the song “The Bare Necessities” runs through my head! Have you seen the new one? I haven’t yet…

                            I would love a dare! Anyone have one?

                              Write a story about a PRINCESS who turns into a frog and she needs to get a PRINCE to kiss her to turn back into a person. I don’t know if that’s a good dare or not, but you like Disney, and that’s the best I could do. 😉

                                @julia-r, write about the protagonist who doesn’t want to be the hero. Or vice-versa. The villain didn’t want to be the antagonist, but he doesn’t know how to stop.

                                  @his-instrument and @jess You were talking about the Jungle Book. I’ve seen the acted out one. It is 100 times better than the animated one. (That might be because I didn’t like the animated movie….) 🙂 I like acted out movies the best. (Get ready to jump if/when you watch it)
