Anyone out there up for some writing? Say, for the next half hour?
July 11, 2016 at 7:59 pm #14576July 11, 2016 at 8:10 pm #14578@kate-flournoy Cool. I’m on.

July 11, 2016 at 8:13 pm #14580@Daeus okay. Till nine, as usual.
July 11, 2016 at 9:00 pm #14584@kate-flournoy I got 969 words edited and did some grammatical checks on two chapters.

July 11, 2016 at 9:03 pm #14585@Daeus awesome! I didn’t do too well, but I didn’t do too badly either. 859 words edited and some unnecessary material cut.
I’m doing a lot of that. Cutting unnecessary material, that is. Which is very good. I don’t want my final draft to be 500,435 words. *cringe*
July 11, 2016 at 9:08 pm #14586Daaaahhh!!! Kate! You’ll never write four books a year if they’re that long.

July 11, 2016 at 9:12 pm #14587@Daeus ‘Thank you oh so much for bringing up that very painful subject. Why don’t you just go ahead and give me a nice papercut and pour lemon juice on it?’
*hopes you’ve seen The Princess Bride*
July 11, 2016 at 9:14 pm #14588@kate-flournoy Who hasn’t? But then, I don’t seem to remember that.
Lemon juice. I need some of that right now.

@Daeus Miracle Max’s retort to Inigo when Inigo asked him if he was the miracle worker Prince Humperdink had fired.
Miracle Max has some great lines.July 12, 2016 at 12:39 am #14591Come’on @daeus , that line is totally classic. Of course, I’ve seen it more times than I can count, so I ought to know it by now.
Nice usage, by the way, @kate-flournoy. Made me 🙂
I got some writing done too, but later than you guys, when I really ought to have been asleep and really wasn’t planning to write at all but was suddenly struck upside the head by the hammer of inspiration which, oddly enough, looks a little like Thor’s hammer, Mjolnir … (I can’t believe I just spelled that correctly. *gives self a high-five*) but now I am feeling elated like one does when one has been inspired and written for an hour almost non-stop (and spells something cool correctly) and can’t go to sleep. What a wonderful misery it is. 😉
Oh, I wrote roughly 642 words. Some of it was just ideas and some of it story.

July 12, 2016 at 7:09 am #14593@Overcomer Mjolnir? How in the name of common sense does one even pronounce that? I tried, and it sounds like my mouth is full of sticky rubber. 😛
And yay for hammer-blows of inspiration! Even if they do inspire you to get up at 12:39 in the morning. 😉
July 12, 2016 at 1:33 pm #14596It’s actually pretty easy, @kate-flournoy. *Tries to explain and fails* *finds quick video instead* Try this. 🙂
And thanks! 🙂
