I really don’t know … not super young, but old people are welcome to read it too. 😉 I think I’ll evaluate it once I’ve got a first draft complete. I’ve already figured out the style, (through prewriting) which is sorta humorous and quirky. I think really young kids wouldn’t get all of the humor, and might struggle a little to read some of the bigger words.

That is so great @overcomer! I love humorous and quirky writing…actually just about anything humorous and quirky. 😀 And from what you said it sounds like it could be enjoyable for all ages which is really good. I remember my Mum reading The Old Squires Farm to us when I was little and there was a lot in there that I didn’t understand back then but I still loved to hear the stories. And now that I’m older I still like to hear the stories and I understand more.
I don’t mind going somewhere else to discuss this if you want so we’re not distracting those who are trying to word war.
