@seekjustice Same here! In my mind’s eye, I can see every teacher I’ve ever had reading this and silently nodding. I think it’s one of the reasons God directed to writing, becouse whenever I write something new for the first time, it’s baaaaad, and I just have to learn to let that go. *hides fist drafts in the caverns of the earth where no one can find them*

@daughteroftheking that’s very true. I guess I’m kind of used to having to edit everything now and I don’t see my first drafts as a failure, per se, just as a beginning. I need to have a bad first draft so that I can have a better second draft. I just haven’t learnt to see guitar that way yet!

I just wrote a little snippet of my MC’s childhood. I am getting really attached to this one character I know I have to kill off. *wails* WHY VIOLET WHY!!!!????? *collapses into a pitiable heap on the floor* Ok, sorry you had to see that. I must away.
