Okay, that makes sense. Right now I’m working on the story of a guy who’s alone in a post apocalyptic world and kinda insane. Its fun 🙂
@josiahdeboer Oh yeah, what’s not fun about that? 😛

@Dragon-snapper – It is fun. I like writing it. It’s just also a touch depressing. Like all my stories, actually. *sigh*
@josiahdeboer Don’t worry. Mine can be depressing at times too (my poor characters’ backstories)

@dragon-snapper Are you scared of a little Catwing? *extends claws and admires how sharp they are today*
IMMA KAPEEFER! Til we're old and gray!
@Josiahdeboer That sounds very interesting. I have trouble with depressing stories too😕
@dragon-snapper XD Oh no. Not the gifs.
@JosiahDeboer That does sound fun XD
@catwing Hello! And also goodbye. Good luck with your writing!
@Emily
I’m heading out everyone! Have fun without me! *Sniffs and waves*
@emily thanks
@dragon-snapper and @josiahdeboer Some of my characters back stories are sad too. Like one is a thief… But there is more to it than just that. 😁 Though that character isn’t in Finding Secrets.
IMMA KAPEEFER! Til we're old and gray!
@gabrielle Bye
IMMA KAPEEFER! Til we're old and gray!
I bid you a sorrowful goodbye! @winter-rose *cries uncontrollably*
@winter-rose Bye!
IMMA KAPEEFER! Til we're old and gray!
@catwing @josiahdeboer We are so mean to our characters.
I worry if they ever come to real life and meet me that they’ll have an uproar or a rebellion.

I’m actually pretty good at depressing stories which are why they all end up that way. There was one point in which I wrote three stories in a couple weeks. In one, the guy got divorced. In the second, a different guy has depression and has his parents die. In the third, the main character dies. I’ve written stories about lonely people in nursing homes and about a man who can’t find God. I’ve written from the perspective of Hitler and (creepily) about a woman who chips out her brains with a knife to commit suicide. I’ve written stories about when there are no plants left and a guy who fits in but can’t stand out. I’m not actually sure if I’ve ever written a happy story.
Someone should get a psychologist to check me out.
