@that_writer_girl_99 The wall is not our friend. 😀
For starting chapter outlines, I usually have already written at least a little of bit of my book so far. Maybe a page, a paragraph, a chapter, a prologue. something that will get me going. From that, I’ll simply describe what happens in a few sentences and stem off of that for planning chapters. On the other hand, if I haven’t written anything, just start with how you think it might start. Brainstorm. I have more advice…:D, but I’ll get back to you tomorrow with nice, organized instructions if you still need help.☀ ☀ ☀ ENFP ☀ ☀ ☀

April 4, 2017 at 9:40 pm #29444@that_writer_girl_99 I think a good way to solve that might be with the infamous “what if?” question. Like “what if the protagonist said this? And what if so-and-so reacted like this?” That might help get chapter into motion.
April 4, 2017 at 9:40 pm #29445I’m sure I will @jane-maree I just need to get used to the process.

April 4, 2017 at 9:48 pm #29448@that_writer_girl_99 I do it all the time too 😛 I hear other people talking about the method, and I just stare at them as I try to comprehend why I’d forgotten it.
April 4, 2017 at 9:54 pm #29449Ugh, yes. *reassures self* Okay. I actually think I’m starting to get somewhere. Thanks to everyone who helped me out!

April 4, 2017 at 10:21 pm #29453@Jane-Maree I’m going to call it a night. I succeeded in spending an hour and a half total rewriting the same travel scene. In the end, I just decided that the “disaster” was that my character began to lose her mind 😛
See you around!
April 4, 2017 at 10:23 pm #29454@Audrey-Caylin Alrighty! Keep up the good writing/editing/insane-Camp-NaNo-ing. 😀
