@that_writer_girl_99 Well, what I did for my last novel and what I am doing for now is start out with the three main points. Beginning, Middle and End. As I go, I’ll get ideas for scenes, and jot those down on a separate piece of paper. Then, over the course of a few days, I plan the book out by scene/chapter, the basic things that happen in that scene (or chapter. I’m really just doing chapter, but they always are longer than they should be when it comes to writing, so I’ll change the numbering when I get to that.) In those chapters, I include the main scenes that I want to include, those which I mentioned earlier, in paragraph form. It’s quite casual.
The first time I did it, the planning made it seem like there would be 15 or 16 chapters, but when I finished, there were 30 or so. Now, I’m planning and I have near 20 so far, and more to come. If you have any other questions, let me know.
