@Daeus, I copied and pasted a lot from an older assignment into this one, so it’s hard to tell how much is new, but I have about two pages that I didn’t have before.
A lot of the best Romantic poets died young, and still put out a lot of good work, so there’s some consolation.
You will draw water joyfully from the springs of salvation. (Isaiah 12:3)
@northerner Excellent. Now I just have to be a romantic and my life will be meaningful.

@Daeus, the Romantics had plenty of problems to go around. I wouldn’t recommend modelling your life on Byron’s, or Shelley’s, for example.
Milton was definitely not a Romantic poet, but he spent much of his life preparing to write an epic, and then went blind and was afraid he’d never do it. But he did it anyway.
You will draw water joyfully from the springs of salvation. (Isaiah 12:3)
@northerner True. Well, I like Milton, so I’m good.

@Daeus @Northerner dah! Had to restart my laptop… it froze on me… *glum look* Sorry to keep you waiting. I got 623 words.
And now I feel so terribly uncultured because I’ve never read Byron or Shelley or Milton… *sniff*
Is anyone still writing?
@kate-flournoy Oh, good it was only your laptop. I was worried you might have met an untimely midlife demise.

I’ve actually only read one chapter of Milton, so…heh heh.

@daeus @kate-flournoy is it just you two writing?
@winter-rose No, actually we’re both gone. Sorry about that.
