November 30, 2016 at 9:01 pm #21931@Daeus I got 966. Your count picking up any?
November 30, 2016 at 9:03 pm #21933@kate-flournoy Actually I didn’t write tonight. I plotted out my next chapter and then did a little bit of editing.

November 30, 2016 at 9:09 pm #21935Oh! Okay. Awesome.
…guess what? I’m going to be outlining my next project on Friday! Going hunting with my dad, and I’m going to take a notebook (or two π ) and a pen and see how much I can get done just sitting in a blind all day. XD
How in depth do you usually outline?
November 30, 2016 at 9:15 pm #21936Wwwwoooooww… Don’t think the deer will sense something strange and run away? π
The book I’m writing now is the only one I’ve ever outlined according to a plan. The other two were just a long list of notes in chronological order. For this one, I tried to plot out all the major plot points in this chart K.M.Wieland has (the yellow, red, and orange ones). Then, for each chapter, I’ll bullet point some notes before I start writing.

November 30, 2016 at 9:21 pm #21937Ha. It’s okay. They probably won’t come anywhere near us anyway. π
Hm, yes… *strokes chin* Okay. Cool. I’m not going totally from scratch— I’m rewriting Victorious so I’m working with existing material, but that’ll be helpful to keep in mind. It’ll probably end up more like a list of chronological notes, as you said, but I guess we’ll see what we shall see. π

December 1, 2016 at 7:00 pm #22000@jess @overcomer @winter-rose @daeus @kate-flournoy @dragon-snapper @perfectfifths (I thought I’d introduce you to the bestestist forum on KP) @anyone I’ve forgotten.
I’m editing right now, is there anyone who wishes to join me?
@perfectfifths So how this works is you find someone who wishes to write with you and you set a time, i.e an hour. You then work on your own separate projects until the hour/time is up, jump back on here and you can post your word scores here or just tell how you did. Basically it’s just more fun to write if you know someone else is too.- This reply was modified 8 years ago by BlueJay.
